Having managed to get a booking for the sea view balcony room I couldn’t speak highly enough of this guest house and it’s so accommodating hosts Vince and Aura were really helpful, especially as I arrived late on the first evening. The accommodation was clean, well equipped and perfectly located for my weekend meeting friends. I’m looking forward to returning next year

Lovely guest house. Easy to find, parking was easy to do even though there is no official car park. |Was greeted on arrival by Vince and Aura who made us feel welcome. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. The guest house is across the road from a beautiful beach. |We got back from a day out to find two lovely home made cup cakes waiting for us which was a great personal touch. Unfortunately due to renovations we didn’t have the breakfast or use the bar but I’m sure it will look lovely after. Great stay will definitely return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend in Gorleston-on-Sea & so glad we stayed in the Harbour hotel(room only), which is so convenient for the beach & everything. ||The room was excellent & being dog friendly was the icing on the cake; speaking of which the lady owner baked me a Birthday cake😁

Even better room than before it has a harbour view and out to sea. Yet again the room very clean and tidy with a lovely feel to it. Hosts were as nice and helpful as ever and breakfasts freshly cooked and tasty. Would recommend this small hotel/B&B for anyone and yes we will go back again for another short stay.

Had a wonderful stay at The Harbour this weekend. The hotel itself is small and cosy, we stayed in an updated room facing the rear of the property. Facilities were good, shower room small but perfectly functional. Shower was good with plenty of hot water. Room had tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer and plenty of towels, beds were clean and comfy. ||||The breakfast was great, a small menu but plenty to choose from. Poached eggs some of the best I've ever had! Also a small selection of cereals to help yourself to, orange juice and choice of tea or coffee. ||||The location is great, right on Gorleston's harbour and just 5 minutes slow walk to the lovely beach and attractions. The hotel itself is not super-modern, but I personally preferred it this way as it felt much more relaxed. I found myself able to use the lovely little guest lounge with my toddler without worrying too much about scuffing the decor! ||||What really sets this place apart are the hosts, Aura and Vince were so friendly. We had a lovely cup of tea to welcome us and a chat, but without being over the top. Our little one was poorly during the trip and Aura gave us Calpol and a thermometer. She also gave him some little toys to take home and play with. I really can't get over how helpful she was, I don't think I've ever experienced anything like it in my many years of travel. I can't say enough good things about the hosts, I really can't. ||||I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this hotel. I guess if you want an ultra-modern, brand new place then this will not be your cup of tea, but if you want a place to stay with good facilities, a great breakfast and fantastic hosts who really go above and beyond for you, then definitely come here!!!!! 🙂

We stay here every time we visit Gorleston now. Vince and Aura are so warm and welcoming. Customer service that’s second to none. Comfortable and clean. Great value for money. Feels like home away from home. Cannot recommend this lovely hotel enough.

Going to the Harbour Hotel was like a home from home; our rooms were large, very clean and had all the necessary facilities. The owners were extremely welcoming and the quality of the food was amazing; the smoked herrings for breakfast are a MUST! A great view of the harbour and a very short walk from the sea front and amazing beach. We will certainly be returning. Thank you.

Lovely clean room, a lovely sun room to sit in for a cuppa & a read .
They don't do breakfast but we were not bothered because we could get up when we wanted & go get breakfast just around the corner.
The hosts were lovely & friendly.
