Came here for a half-day spa package. The pool is lovely and not too cold. The jacuzzi, sauna and steam room are all amazing. The massage with Jo was so relaxing. The bento box at lunch was nicely presented and tasty. Complimentary hot drinks and juices with lunch.

Some constructive comments - the changing rooms need looking into. The toilets were quite disgusting with the toilets blocked and toilet paper everywhere. I had to go through 4 lockers before finding one that actually worked and I wasn't able to get any help from reception as there were no female staff available. The service needs a little improvement as you feel slightly abandoned at lunch.

Nice day overall.

Booked a 2-hrs treatment, and it ended at least 15 minutes early. The treatment itself was only okay, the whole body massage focused on just a few body parts, unlike the whole body massage you would have expected. Also reserved an afternoon tea online and apparently it was forgotten and the kitchen just gave me whatever dessert that was left and they were insanely sugary. Overall, a bad experience, not worth the money.

This place was okay, everyone seems to reserve a sunlounger with a towel and then winder off meaning there is nowhere to sit or relax. The outside hot tub was at 33 degrees so barely warm. Said we had free parking but still charged us £12….

Booked the morning spa deal for my birthday!
Was originally a bit upset because my partner and I had overlapping spa times which meant that I didn’t get to see him for 2 hours (usually wouldn’t be bothered but a shame on my birthday).
The facilities were good. Towel, robe and flip
flops provided.
Afternoon tea was ok. Sandwiches not to my personally taste and the cakes were sickly sweet (I’ve been before and the selection was much nicer). The scones were epic though!
What really made the experience was the the massage by Ella and the complementary gift box for my birthday! Really made my day ?

Terrible spa, staff at the desk had an arrogance towards people that haven’t booked a whole spa day, treating people who book just treatments or spa access as second class customers. No slippers or robes, just a basic and thin towel, because you dared to not have a full spa day.
Facilities are poorly laid out, certainly not worth travelling far to visit. There are much better spa facilities up and down the country, this one is more of an embarrassment for Harrogate than an asset. It is a shame that the spa is let down the most by the staff I dealt with.
The spa attracts mainly white clientele and part of me wonders if the front desk experience was race related, even if I give the establishment the benefit of the doubt then the way they deal with people is unacceptable for a service industry.
I had the massage at £75 for 50 minutes, the massage itself was ok, but despite it starting a few minutes late the therapist did not complete the full time, instead finishing dead on 50 minutes from the appointment time. I wouldn’t mind normally but I had got there in advance to get the full time.

Really wonderful massage and great staff, food was delicious but there was seemingly a lot of work taking place (floor buffering and such) which took away from the relaxing atmosphere.

My partner and I visited the Harrogate Spa today.

Spa day:
We opted in for the spa day with Rasul.
The spa day lasted for a total of 4 hours (1pm - 5pm). We went on a Friday.

Parking:
You don’t have to pay for parking, this is validated at the Spa’s reception. If you do pay for parking, unfortunately this is non-refundable.

Lunch:
The spa day included complementary drinks and lunch (or afternoon tea). My partner and I opted in for the lunch option. We both had salmon, this came with couscous, salad, a brownee, and a berry compote. Lunch is served bento-style. It all comes at once, and fairly quickly. Complementary drinks are offered during lunch (you get hot drinks, or options of juices - cranberry, apple, pineapple, orange). Our table was ready when we arrived, and we were served immediately.

Service:
Service was impeccable from greeting at reception, to lunch, and throughout the rest of the experience. Honestly, one of the best services we’ve received. Staff is highly attentive.

Rasul:
The overall experience was great, we’d do it again. You’re walked through the steps. You are presented with 3 varieties of muds (face, hair, and body). You then sit in this steam room for a while, and rinse off with a monsoon shower. It was quite relaxing.

The spa:
Changing rooms were very clean. There were around 100 secure lockers where you can safely leave your belongings. There were also showers and toilets, all well stocked. We also had 0 issues with towels, robes, and slippers.
The spa itself isn’t big. You have a swimming pool in the middle, and around the sides one sauna, one steam room, and one jacuzzi. You also have a jacuzzi just outside.
There were about 15 or so beds.
We were fortunate to have gone on a Friday afternoon, so we had no trouble finding a spot to relax and using the facilities.
However you are limited for options.

Overall, we’d recommend visiting the spa. Despite the negative reviews here, we had a great time.

Had a spa morning package as a gift and it did not disappoint!! Facilities amazing and the lunch was so yummy!! But the best part was my 2 x 25 mins massages!! My therapist Laura was amazing!!!! I had the best messages ever!! She was so attentive, without being obtrusive, she exudes a calm vibe and I can’t recommend her enough!! Thank you Laura for making me feel so relaxed and great, it was much needed!!!
