Travelled from the south coast to meet family for lunch & chose this pub after a recommendation. Well what can I say from the moment we entered (8 of us) the lady behind the bar(sorry I didn't get your name) greeted us and our mini dachshund with so much enthusiasm. It's one of the most doggy friendly pubs we've been in & that's a fair few 😁 Decor was so cosy but spacious at the same time, great vibes, beautiful river location. Now the food, this was delicious all round with various dishes from the beef ciabatta to the wonderfully cooked salmon. Well done everyone involved 🤗 Shame we aren't local or you'd definitely have us regulars.

We were passing through on our boat and was only going to be here one night. However, the food, the service and the atmosphere is all top drawer so we stayed an extra day. This place is a credit to all concerned and an absolute gem. We will definitely be back for more.

Great pub for lunch. Stopped on a day trip from Norbury Warfe (~3 hours) for lunch. Preordered as we were a group of 10 and the food was ready very quickly after arriving. Great service, good selection of drinks and lovely food, would highly recommend!

Our 1st time here today. Lovely position next to the canal. All the staff were friendly & welcoming. Food was amazing. I had the ciabatta bread off the lunch menu & my other half had the chicken kebab.
Definitely going again.

First time in this pub.Although it's
open all day, after 2 it's only sandwiches and baked potatoes! What we had was very nice, mom had fish finger sandwich with chips and I had cheese baked potato and salad. They are dog friendly but don't offer any food for dogs, not even a sausage! Usually pubs do offer a bit of food for dogs,so they're missing out.
