Impressive gem literally hidden away in the Sussex countryside and woodlands. The studio apartment is very spacious, brilliantly decorated, the bed is large and comfy so, thanks to the silent surroundings, you'll have a very good night sleep. If you don't mind cooking breakfast yourself, you will appreciate what you find in the kitchen: the hosts stocked the fridge with everything necessary for a full English, which we enjoyed at the table just outside in the garden (with the owners' super well behaved dog). The coffee table in the entrance offers guide books and maps for walks in the area, don't miss them! Our mistake: staying for one night only. Super recommended.

Absolutely wonderful stay. Beautiful room, impeccable service and lovely hosts. Set on such a unique picturesque property with truly amazing grounds. Fully stocked fridge, nice bed a perfect escape. Definitely be back again soon.

Great place to relax away from it all. Less then 5minutes walk and you are in the Ashdown forest with miles of exploring. Loved my stay only down side was finding it for the first time but once found was worth getting a little bit lost.

Very small . Came here to relax, have some food and watch a film to unwind. The TV didn't work so called the landlord who tried to fix it but didn't seem to know what to do so in the end we agreed to just use the DVD player . The TV then went off and said re tune the channels to continue . Tried calling again and even knocked on the door but no answer . The lights were on the dog was barking and after one hour and 20 mins we left only to be greeted with a rude message late that night . Would not recommend this place at all

Idyllic and relaxed. A few minutes along the footpath and you're on Ashdown Forest with great walks across the heath.
