Had a lovely one night stay at Higher Trapp. We ate in the restaurant and the food was delicious. All inclusive drinks were fab, lots of variety and generous measures. Staff were brilliant, special mention to Holly, Callum and Hannah. All the staff were fab. We will definitely be back.

Had a wonderful stay at Higher Trapp. The bubbles deal included time in the hot tub, £25 towards dinner, all inclusive drinks between 6pm-11pm and breakfast. The hot tub was lovely, perfect temperature and the glass of prosecco was delightful. I was a little skeptical about the £25 towards dinner, I thought everything would be very expensive, but it wasn’t. The food was delicious, well presented and so tasty. The all inclusive drinks were exactly as it says, however as a drinker of Jack Daniels I’ve got to say, way too much coke was served, after a drink or two I asked them to put half the amount of coke in and they did. |The room was basic but very clean and comfortable. The views are amazing. |Breakfast was serve yourself continental and cook to order full English. The sausage was a little on the cheap side (think Richmonds) having said that I did thoroughly enjoy breakfast. |All the staff we encountered were fabulous, well presented and professional. The only name I managed to get and he is worth a mention is Jamie. Jamie was at breakfast, what a lovely guy. |I’d definitely stay again.

My husband&I stayed overnight in room 8 for our Pearl Wedding Anniversary. So comfortable&lovely view over the gardens. From arriving to leaving it was so welcoming. The girls on reception, didnt get their names was lovely. Then Sheila who looked after us with the Hot tub&evening meal was so helpful&pleasant. Then the barman&waiter a nice pleasant man. Breakfast was good with another lovely lady. All in all everything went brilliant. I reccomend the Hot tub deal with 2 course meal&free drink from 6pm till 11pm with breakfast the morning after. We hope to visit again sometime. Cheryll&Paul

4 of us booked the all-inclusive hotvtub deal. Promptly booked in, rooms were fine, clean, plenty of brew making kit, excellent shower too. We had a slot booked in the hit tub. We went down in good time, nobody had the slot before or after us. We were given towels & dressing gowns, a young lady also brought us a complimentary glass of Prosecco. She explained how things worked and was very friendly and helpful. Hot tub. Was nice and warm, spotlessly clean. Our evening meal was booked for 7pm, we went to the bar at 6pm as we were on all inclusive drinks from 6-11pm. Local bitter was tiptop then had a lovely Shiraz with our meal. Starting with pate then onto cheese & onion pie, food was delicious, service prompt and friendly. Moved into the cosy lounge finished with a couple of g & t's|Slept well in a comfy bed. Breakfast was very good . Cereals & fruit juices followed by a quality full English. Unlimited brews & toast too. Again staff were helpful and friendly. |Thanks to all the staff at Higher Trapp, they were all so nice, we have already booked our next visit. Cheers x

This Hotel is situated in a very beautiful part of the Country, with easy access to Clitheroe, Skipton, and Settle. The grounds and building itself are very charming and well kept, I have seen comments saying that the inside of the Hotel is tired - I understand what they mean, but it matches the character of the building itself, which adds to its charm, plus it is kept very clean. ||The deals, I think give amazing value for money, OK not a Michelin Star menu, but then you are not paying their prices. We thought the menu offered a good selection, and what we ordered was faultless. The chef makes a perfect pouched egg every morning at breakfast, we have been twice now, and each time they are spot on.||There is one thing about this Hotel that really stands out, and that is the staff. Sooooo pleasant, all with genuine smiles on their faces, eager to help and please, which is actually quite rare, and that was everyone from the Manager to the cleaners, who all seemed to be enjoying their work.||However, the one that really stood out to us definitely lives up to her name ‘Angel’. She was very professional coping well under the pressure of a busy service, with great knowledge of the menu. She gave me a perfect description of what the soup of the day tasted like, which was very helpful. She is really pleasant, and even though she was busy, made time for a chat and a little banter with us.||Looking forward to a return visit soon. Thank You.

Expected some atmosphere or music as it’s a long day to stay on the premises with what if felt like a cooperate meeting. Staff were very young and manager always rushing. No customer service, just doing their job. Drinks was weak on the all inclusive , 5 hours of drinking and none of us out of the party of 6 were even tipsy lol, my husband had 10 pints!. Food was nice and included in the offer so cannot complain of the price. Room was very dated.
It was fine for the price of the offer but I definetly wouldn’t pay more. £109 per couple

On arrival we were impressed by the building. The reception was polite and helpful, the receptionist showed us to the lounge and bar area prior to us going to our room which was in a separate building. It had it's own parking area and was very pleasant, our room was quite spacious and comfortable. The afternoon cream tea was pretty good and the evening meal was also well cooked and plentiful.Angel, the waitress, and bar person was wonderful, nothing was too much trouble and she was extremely pleasant and helpful. the breakfast was also very good and varied.|we would definitely use this hotel again.
