Booked for 4 nights. The first day they couldn't find my room key, so they placed me in a different room and changed me the next morning. That second night I was bitten on my face and body during the night. Had to redo the bed in the morning. The staff was friendly and very approachable. The bar doesn't open till midday. No amenities within 15min walk. Room was acceptable but one night that was windy I had to place paper on the wooden window that kept vibrating and making noise through the night. There was some mould in the high ceilings and the lining was spotty and slightly on the unclean side. The room was very spacious. There are sea views in some rooms. The pub looks old, outdated and unclean (never used it). It's fine cause it was cheap, guess you get what you pay for... Parking space for 5 cars, I never had an issue but I guess in high season it won't work. There is some street parking but not much. Was so sad that never took pics

Pretty good actually. Staff were great. Our room was quiet, clean and well appointed. Breakfast was yummy and good value. Sure some of the public areas might benefit from a spruce up but that might detract from the St Leonards charm.
Don’t listen to the haters. 😉

Photos are misleading. But basically it's cheap n U get what U pay for. If you're on your own & just need a place to stay it's fine.... Not a place for kids/family vacation. It's a tired b&b deco could be updated & brightened up & that's including the bar downstairs which I didn't use but saw upon check in.

Room is adequate. Was clean & up in the loft. Was very basic. Shower Had no hot water. Lock was dodgy - basically a latch, so did feel a little insecure especially at night. Had a stale smell throughout the building.
TV didn't work properly - loose aerial wire.

Lovely place staff were wonderful. Did not have the breakfast as needed to be away early ,Had a large room ,with en-suite shower and tv,had nice view out of the window , long walk in to the town centre. made to feel welcome. Had a nice bar for evening drinks , smashing barmaid who took time to say hello,

My stay at the Inn was absolutely deplorable. A bar table instead of a proper reception was a shocking first impression. No staff were available after 9 PM, leaving us helpless. The floor vibrated with every step, which was unnerving. In 7°C weather, the radiator didn’t work, and there wasn’t enough hot water for two showers. No hair dryer was provided either. This Inn’s neglect and discomfort are unacceptable—avoid at all costs.

It was ok for the price I paid. Clean room. Fresh clean bedding. Nice big TV and on suite shower room and WC. Short walk to Hastings

Stayed here with my friend last night. What a treat the receptionist Michelle was, made us feel so welcome. The room was fresh and clean. Highly recommend.

Rooms were dirty aswell as bathroom… we have asked for our room to be cleaned twice and nothing done. As soon as we walked in there was a foul smell coming from the bathroom and a fishy smell in the room… wouldn’t really recommend dreading our first night!!!
