It was a beautiful venue. The sun was shining and we sat outside for drinks. It was such a shame I waited 15 minutes at the bar when I was next in line whilst two bar staff chatted to a regular. It would've been polite just to acknowledge me and the other two ladies waiting. I will certainly give it a go another time as the menu looked lovely.

We had met up with friends and furry paws after a lovely walk along the coastal path from Crosby.

We booked in for lunch for 4 adults and 2 children and a happy pup!

The Hightown Inn was really lovely, very friendly, and had the most delicious lunchtime menu.

The staff were very attentive and helpful, offering recommendations of dishes on the menu, which were spot on.

The New Potato Salad with added Smoked Salmon was delicious.

The children opted for pizzas outside, which were Woodfired and scrumptious, washed down with Lemonades!

On a very warm Saturday lunchtime, we'd been seated in a lovely, cool, relaxing dinning area, and our experience of this welcoming Pub was brilliant.

Most definitely return again soon.
Thank you.

Long wait when there was only 2 other tables in, food was just ok. Atmosphere dull. A whole wall of empty shelves. Massive paint splodge on the windows. It was freezing. Thought it was expensive for what it was, Club sandwich, an open prawn sandwich, kids Mac and cheese and soft drinks £65

I've been here several times now and tried the club sandwich and pizza from the beer garden. The sandwich was very dry, and the pizza was nothing special. The drinks are also very expensive, expect to pay £2 a pint more than you would anywhere else.

A group of us stopped here after a hike for some refreshments. The menu seemed interesting, so we stayed for an early dinner (it was only 5pm on a Friday). I ordered the fish & chips. I have to say that the food was excellent. And even though they'd run out of some dishes, my friends all managed to get something they liked. Although I initially thought the service was slow, in retrospect, it probably wasn't as they had 9 meals to prepare. The portions were generous and delicious. The prices were very reasonable too. Lovely!
