This is such an amazing B&B! The owners were very kind and accommodating. The whole stay was a delight, from the welcome tea, to offering me a lift to my daughter’s school, they truly went above and beyond. The breakfast was especially delicious with fresh eggs from the chickens on site. I will be staying again!

We spent 4 nights at the Holt in June during a visit from South Africa. The room with en-suite was very comfortable and provided everything we needed. Their garden was a lovely space to relax and the breakfasts were delicious. When we left my husband realised that he had lost his prescription sunglasses. Tim and Kate found them weeks later and went to the trouble of posting them to a relative in the UK who could send them back to us.

This place is really the best and near to Sissinghurst and Great Dixter. The breakfast is very, very good and Kate and Tim are so nice persons. They give help by all questions and we love this beautiful house and the garden. The garden is huge and full of wonderful flower beds accompanied by lawn and woodland. The room is very nice and the beds were good, we slept very well. Thanks to Kate and Tim!

Kate and Tim were the perfect hosts. Communication was excellent and they helped us by giving us a lift to the local pub and picking us up and to the local hospital where my husband was having an operation. They allowed us to have a takeaway in their breakfast room as he wasn't well enough to go out. The room was lovely and comfortable, very quiet with views over their magnificent garden, which we enjoyed. The breakfast was copious and delicious, the fresh fruit salad was a great starter. The best place to stay locally!

Good breakfasts, a relaxed atmosphere indoors and in the extensive garden, Kate's art to enjoy and Tim's Kandinsky cards - he gave me one to send to a friend.||They provided a thorough information sheet, local guide books and answered my questions.||With a car, this B&B was an excellent base to explore rural Kent.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at " The Holt" We couldn't fault it in any way.|It is a beautiful cottage in Benenden a very pretty Kent village. It is tastefully decorated in a stunning large garden. A quiet location The standards were extremely high throughout. The hosts were welcoming, the room was very clean & comfortable & the breakfasts were excellent! We would love to stay again. We would recommend it to anyone

The setting was absolutely perfect as we had to attend Benenden hospital which is just five minutes away. The Holt is a lovely Kentish building in its own grounds, which is quiet and very clean. The food was excellent with fresh eggs from Kate & Tim's chickens.

Lovely comfortable beds , super feel about this little gem in the woods. We were greeted by Tim our host for the few days we were planning on staying, a long trip down from Oxfordshire via the M40 and then the M25 orbital car park ,which surprisingly was moving quite well at our time of travel ( a Bonus )! Met Kate the next morning at Breakfast which was superb, one more guest staying at same time as us and we got talking on just about every subject you can think of , turns out the other guest had a connection to the property ,as her grandmother had it built back in the 1930’s and she was on a mission to find out more , this all added to our good time had on our visit .
