What an absolute treat and an amazing little find. The house is so unique and absolutely stunning.|The room and bathroom were beautiful and spotless, and everything we could possibly need was available. |Breakfast was amazing, and I highly recommend Maria's Spanish tortilla.|Both Kevin and Maria made us feel very welcome, and I can not recommend this place highly enough.

The Homestead, sits in the little village of Melling, a 5 mile drive to Kirkby Lonsdale. A beautiful B&B with great character, and fantastic bedrooms.
The hosts Kevin and Maria, couldn't do enough to make our stay memorable. Kevin dropped and picked us up from a local pub, where we had booked our evening meal. Whilst Maria cooked wonderful breakfasts. Well worth a visit.

Probably the most beautiful and interesting B&B we have stayed in, the house is lovely and full of incredible furniture and interesting pieces, the owners have a real eye for detail. Bed extremely comfortable, beautiful bathroom with lots of lovely toiletries provided and everything spotlessly clean. Breakfast was superb and the hosts made us feel so welcome. Kevin the owner delivered us to the local hotel for evening meals and collected us on both nights to save us driving, very kind. Our stay was a fantastic experience start to finish, cannot recommend highly enough. Plus lots of lovely local restaurants, cafes and of course beautiful scenery.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Homestead.Nothing was too much trouble for Kevin and Maria .. Crisp white bedding and a luxurious en suite with thick white towels.The bed was ultra comfy lots of added touches incl Toiletries (shampoo conditioner shower gel and much more). Complimentary tea coffee hot chocolate biscuits and speciality teas.Breakfast superb with a huge choice of continental, cooked and fresh fruits and yoghurts to choose from..Kevin will offer to drive you to and from places around the area for a small fee which we thought was an exceptionally good added benefit. We would not hesitate to come back to this very unique bespoke property.Cleanliness and attention to derail was second to non..Thankyou to our hosts for making our stay such a memorable one that we will never forget

Beautiful and stylish B&B, great location and easy to get to. We had the best experience, Kevin and Maria are fantastic hosts, our bedroom was beautiful, as was bathroom and everything was cleaned to the highest standard. Lovely breakfasts and Kevin very kindly drove us to a local restaurant for our evening meal, which was very good, and collected us 2 nights running which was so kind. Lovely restaurants and cafes nearby serving lovely food. Stunning countryside too. Cannot recommend highly enough, this is a real gem of place to stay.

Such a beautiful place. Kevin and Maria are marvellous, friendly hosts and cannot do enough. The room was luxurious and spacious. The breakfast was delicious. The Homestead is a very cosy, friendly home. Just as the name implies. Will definitely be returning. 😊

What a beautiful place to stay with such character. The room was beautiful and clean and had little touches in the bathroom important to a women such as cotton pads for make up removal. Breakfast was delicious and Maria and Kevin very friendly. Thank you both - this will be our new go to place x
