Absolutely loved our evening at the spa! Really good value for money we all came away feeling wonderfully refreshed. As a group we just had the following suggestions to make it even better!
- Stopwatch/sand timer at the cold plunge so you know how long you’ve been in
- A marker for where to stand for the cold water bucket
- Maybe a relaxation area with hammocks too!

Would highly recommend and have suggested it to many friends already!

Lovely atmosphere. Host was so kind, even brought us cut oranges. Sauna was super hot, loved the plunge pool. Great for self care. Can’t wait to visit again!

Fabulous start to the weekend, Hot Box Sauna is situated in a rustic location and blends in so well. The facilities are great and Jack made us very welcome, thanks we will definitely book again we loved it, thanks

Really lovely afternoon community session. Friendly staff, beautiful surroundings, a hot sauna with a couple of cold plunges and a tent to hang out in if it’s wet. Didn’t try the hot tub but will be back to try it next time!

This place has so much potential and could have been so great… Lets begin with the fact that there is no turn around time. We had a private session booked at 5pm. Naturally, we arrived 10min earlier to allow for changing of clothes. We were told that people who had their session booked ahead of ours had their session booked until 5pm which resulted in them enjoying the sauna until 5pm and then getting dressed which was eating into our time.

Although the lady who greeted us kept fueling the sauna it just wasn’t getting any hotter. We sat at 70C temperature which is nowhere near how hot a sauna should be. If this is the maximum temperature you allow there should be a huge disclaimer on your website as we wouldn’t have booked the session if we knew this.

Cold water bucket was empty. The shower facility had only freezing cold water. We were told that the shower is temperamental and takes time to get warm but there’s only one pipe connected to the shower so I don’t see where the hot water should come from.

The changing facility was…awkward. It’s basically a tent that doesn’t have any walls inside. This means that unless you are comfortable undressing in front of others you’ll have to wait outside and dress in turns.

I was looking forward to trying this sauna out based on all the positive reviews but was very disappointed and will not be returning.

The Hot Box is an amazing experience with the Sauna, hot tub, ice baths etc are in an amazing setting and Juliette was extremely accommodating and provided a professional service.

Wonderful 90 mins in such beautiful location. As a birthday treat it was such a lovely experience with the sun dappled trees. We loved the sauna and cold plunge and finished off with the hot tub. Having the area to ourselves as extra special. Thank you for creating such a lovely space being part of nature. Can’t wait to come back again.

What an incredible experience. The perfect way to unwind on a Sunday with a group of friends. I cannot recommend enough. Surrounded by nature, tucked away in the woods, it feels really private and relaxing. Loved every minute of it. Even stepping out of my comfort zone into the cold plunge! It is now my favourite bit - got to get that head under though to get the full experience. Thanks so much to the Hot Box Co, will most certainly be back 🙂
