We decided to buy a hot tub this year after looking at renting holiday cottages with hot tubs now approaching £800 for a weekend. To start with it appeared to be a minefield with lots of online sellers offing prices starting at around £3000.
It soon became apparent that you get what you pay for so we decided to buy local and then looked at who can offer a local backup service for maintenance and repairs if needed.
We visited a couple of sellers but in the end decided that The Hot Tub & SwimSpa Centre on the Kingsway trading estate fitted what we were looking for a good quality product and after sales care provided by their own staff.
We visited the showroom twice and the staff were extremally knowable and helpful explaining things we had not even thought about and in the end ordered the most suitable Hot Tub for us.
The installation was carried out very professionally and on time including the heat pump which works really and does not add much to the electricity bill. It took about a week to get the water balanced but now its just small adjustments as required.
We have used it every day since its installation and really enjoy it. Its simple to use and this makes it inviting to just pop in after a days work. The App is a good idea and allows us to keep an eye on things.
Since having the hot tub we have built a gazebo around it with detachable sizes for easy maintenance and this helps when the wind or rain would put us off using it.

I summary buying a good quality unit from a local company was an excellent choice for us.

Great shop and amazing service. Have purchased our first hot tub here last year and after searching and looking at places this shop stands out. Friendly and helpful service been provided and guided us on choosing the right set up and details. Jordan was able to answer all our questions during planning and after installation as well. I have wanted a hot tub for years, and had been told by a close friend, that Kevin was the person to see at The Hot Tub and Swim-spa Centre. On entering the premises, I was greeted by Kevin who showed us around and was not only incredibly informative, but took the time to explain and answer all the questions we could throw at him. He wasn’t pushy with sales at all, and allowed Lorraine and I time to explore and enjoy looking around the showroom by ourselves. When we decided what hot tub to purchase to suit our needs. Kevin made it easy, from organizing delivery by crane, installation and complete setup for use. We use our hot tub all the year round, its especially fantastic to use throughout winter months.
