Just had the most amazing Sunday lunch! The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavour, and the staff were incredibly efficient and super friendly. The service was outstanding from start to finish. Thank you—we’ll definitely be back soon!

What a beautiful country pub. It's cosy and nicely decorated inside. The fire was on as it was a very chilly May bank holiday but in summer there's a gorgeous outdoor seating area too.
The menu offered plenty of choice of home cooked pub classics.
We went for halloumi fries to start so we had something to nibble on while we enjoyed our drinks. Then I got the veggie moussaka which came with a lovely fresh salad and also garlic bread. My husband got the steak pie which came with chips, vegetables and a jug of gravy. I wish there'd been a veggie version as it looked amazing! We were too full for pudding but enjoyed every mouthful of our lunches.
It's a little bit of a drive for us, hence only the second time we've been but it's on our radar now and we'll definitely be back to try Sunday lunch...

Visited for the first time this afternoon for an impromptu lunch for two. Wonderful warm welcome and super cosy interior. The service was warm, friendly and homely. The food was delicious- I plumped for the Steak, Onion and Black Sheep ale pie which was scrumptious and my partner had the Asian duck which was equally as delicious. A hidden gem, but well worth the drive to find it! Highly recommended

Visited for a birthday. Classic pretty little country pub. Menu was proper "pub grub" done to a good standard. I had a chicken parmo with a few black sheep ales on cask. Wife had steak and ale pie which looked mega. The kids wolfed down their sausage and mash. Food was great, staff were great. Will be returning!

Cozy, charming and welcoming, dog-friendly pub with a decent selection of beers and hot chocolate for the teen. Quirky decor and comfy seating next to the fire made our first ever visit an unexpected and very pleasant surprise not far from home! Will be back soon to try the food...

Returned for food and the service was excellent. The restaurant seating was roomy and comfortable and had the same quirky decor as the bar. While I can't say I enjoyed my meal (had the sea bass and it predominantly tasted of a liquid smoke type flavour), which is unusual for me, my company all loved their food. My MIL was raving about the fish pie and my son particularly enjoyed his steak pie.

Would have been nice if we could have left a tip on the card for the staff...cash tips only! Bring cash because the service is really pleasant and efficient.

Booked a table for lunch for 4 of us +dog. Lovely welcome as we got there, very cosy/comfortable charming pub, we had the Steak and Ale Pie, Scampi and Ploughman's lunch everything was very nice, I've not been to the Hotham Arms for some time but really enjoyed it, I won't leave it as long next time.
