The House In Hastings is truly spectacular and in such a great location with amazing views of the old town and the English Channel.. The house is so well stocked especially the kitchen which has everything you need and more. Paul who runs it was so responsive and helpful too. We loved our stay and can’t recommend it enough....

The House in Hastings is absolutely stunning. It very much feels like an exclusive Soho House by the sea. Opulent 💁🏻‍♂️

We recently stayed for the weekend and all of our guests were blown away by the house.

The fern garden is perfect for evening dinner all lit up with candles.

Every bedroom is beautiful, including the bunk room which is very spacious and comfortable.

We will definitely be returning.

The house has amazing views, up a hilly incline, so whilst only a short walk down to the beach, those with mobility issues need to be prepared. The bedrooms and bathrooms are amazing and luxurious. The front patio was a lovely sun trap, unfortunately we couldn't use the internal patio area due to an abundance of spiders and webs- could be a lovely space. Would definitely stay again

This was absolutely great - perfect luxury quirky stay. We stayed for a few days, and had friends join us for a sociable evening of drinking and eating. Was really fun inviting people over to such a spectacular house! It's a good mix of historic features and modern comfort. And perfectly located, just a couple of minutes walk from the town with a lot of interesting shops, the cliff railway and the sea-side, and all the sights of the town.

Went here at Christmas time with friends and it was absolutely stunning. The house itself is large and spacious with plenty of living and dining space as well as the bedrooms. Well equipped kitchen and an amazing bright red dining table so it is great for group dining. It is only a short walk away from the sea front and there is so much to explore in Hastings, make sure you check out Hendys home store!

Place is beautifully designed and curated, kept the charm of the old and mixed in with the contemporary. Really comfortable and homely all round. ideally located. Only downside is that some parts of the house are really cold and drafty but that comes with a house of this age. although lots of radiators and gas fires. Also a lot of stairs for those less mobile.

Edit: Beware owners trying to charge 105£ for cleaning and replacement of a microwave for burnt on food. See pictures.

We absolutely loved our stay here - the house is full of quirky but comfortable details - everything is of a high quality. The sea views are amazing and the location is fantastic - close to all the great shops and pubs. We will be back!
