This place is unique as a B and B. It is all part of the garden centre. Staff in cafe were so accommodating, making us ham rolls when we requested them at breakfast for our journey onwards. Room spacious, good shower and there is use of a communal room and kitchen. All top class. Lady in shop who also showed us to our rooms was helpful and friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

What a lovely a great find house@glenbarr is!! Book with absolute confidence. Room , breakfast, staff, facilities are simply perfect. The bed was super comfortable and bedding gorgeous quality. Shower was strong and perfect. Breakfast was cooked to order and quality ingredients used. Very happy. Will definitely return. |Oh and lastly there a large kitchen with oven and everything you need to rustle up a bite to eat. Netflix Amazon and all channels available. Signal is great!

My wife and I had a superb one night stay in a lovely room. The staff were most friendly and welcoming and it was a great breakfast in the morning. Superb shop, garden centre and cafe are next door. Highly recommended.

Back from our short visit to Kintyre mainly for a day's cycling on Ghia. We had lunch at the Glenbarr cafe and stayed overnight after a pootle around Campbelltown. Very welcoming staff and a lovely lunch outside, the food was good and plentiful too as was breakfast the following day. This is truly a lovely place to stay, staff were welcoming and lovely and the accommodation top notch. This is a well thought out business and everyone are to be congratulated. The House is a must stay if you are anywhere near the area for ferries or just visiting. We'd go back without hesitation.

Although now under new ownership this is our second stay at 'the house of Glenbarr'. Once again we were not dissapointed. Stayed in the Hayloft, so a small eating kitchen , large bedroom with sitting area. Immaculate bedding, towels and bath robes. Daily cleaning service. |Very comfortable. Breakfasting the garden centre next door was local produce, staff very attentive and helpful. There was access to the outside area in the evening but as the weather was chilly we didn't use, on a nice evening this would be a lovely place to sit and chill.|The village itself is very small, although not visible from the village the beach is 5 minutes away. Campbelltown 20 min uses by car. The coastline is stunning. We will return

Very easy to find with SatNav, & the keys were left out for our late arrival.
The room was very clean, with fresh decor & comfortable furnishings and bed. The pillows were perfect for us with a reasonable sized TV, plenty sockets for our chargers, and bedside lighting.
The shower is large enough to fit two comfortably, and again, the bathroom was spotless.
The shop & cafe next door is where you go for breakfast (which is included in the price), for cereals, fruit juice & hot filled rolls.
A cooked breakfast is not included, however, given the price, it’s great value to have something to start your day.
The staff we spoke to were very helpful, and we will definitely stay here again when we return.
