Absolutely loved our stay at the Hundred House Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome, nothing was too much trouble. The building itself is full of charm and character, with so many quirky little touches that made it feel really special. Our room had a four-poster bed and a swing (yes, really!) and was super clean and comfortable.

Dinner in the restaurant was excellent, beautifully cooked, packed with flavour, and clearly made with care. Breakfast the next morning was just as good, with a great variety and everything freshly prepared. We also loved walking around the gardens, such a peaceful spot with herbs, flowers, and hidden corners to explore.

It’s the kind of place that really stays with you, unique, cosy, and full of personality. Can’t wait to come back again!

Amazing place for a vacation or a holiday. The hotel is well maintained and located in very good location. The rooms are species and well organised. We have had a warm welcome during our check-in, front desk staff are very polite and professional. They are very friendly and welcoming us with broad smile which make us feel amazed. Breakfast is so good and delicious, they have so many options and even some times we have to leave something as we cannot eat each and every options in our breakfast. Overall experience was amazing and we felt like home and we definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and family members. Amazing. Thank you.

We’d forgotten how good the food was here, probably have not been for 12 or 18 months, however the welcome was warm, staff friendly as usual and the food was excellent. We had smoked shin and grilled asparagus to start, followed by venison pie and duck breast. My wife’s duck breast was exceptionally tasty and my pie was fabulous. Crème brûlée and roulade to finish, a great all round meal.

Just had my daughters wedding at this venue.
The staff were amazing from start to finish. Polite and helpful at all times. The food was good and the breakfast was amazing.
So why 4 stars not 5.
Room was very hot and couldn't open the window, shower was broken and our room was unfortunately next to the road. As the faults had not previously been reported I'm sure they will be fixed.
Should you visit the beautiful pub, yes.
Should you consider your wedding here, yes.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Staff are very friendly and professional. Room was different, four poster bed, roll top bath, swing. The gardens are very pleasant and relaxing. The food was really good on both nights and breakfast was ample. All in all a brilliant couple of days away. Only downside it’s on a busy/noisy road but it’s worth a visit. Would recommend Fennel and Dill room.

Fantastic night out for food to celebrate my birthday. Great location but parking can get v busy. Tasty pint of Belhaven stout, recommended. Had the pie which was exception as were the blades of beef. Roulade to finish with coffee. Totally recommend the place.

We spent this weekend here for our friends’ wedding, and they honestly made the right choice! The staff are exceptional, couldn’t have been more helpful if they’d tried, the venue was stunning for a relatively small scale wedding. The food was beautiful, from the canapés through to the hog roast and cheese buffet. ||The rooms we had were lovely, and very in keeping with the style of the venue. The bed was really comfortable (although for a relatively short disabled person, getting into ours was nothing short of comedic!!) We will definitely visit again, and highly recommend it for a wedding venue as well as a lovely little getaway!
