A friendly welcome when we arrived. Good choice on the menu. We all enjoyed our roast dinners. Amazing variety of vegetables. Only one had room for pudding - very good crumble! We were able to relax and chat afterwards. Good value! Defintely recommend to others and we will return.

A group of us booked in for Sunday lunch and we had a great time. |We were in a lovely room, I asked to be as we can be a bit loud, which was perfect.|Service was excellent throughout, the staff were very efficient and really friendly. |The food was good and plenty of it, spot on. |It wasn't on the menu but with the red wine flowing, we asked for a couple of cheeseboards. Absolutely no problem at all. |We all had a great time.|We will be back soon.

Lovely family meal was had here last week. The lamb was cooked perfectly and we really enjoyed the mousse for dessert. We came with our family and everyone really enjoyed their food. The service was fantastic as well, we’ll certainly be back.

Popped in for a drink initially and was tempted by a spot of lunch while there. Beautiful, cosy, country pub atmosphere. The staff are super friendly and we're managing super well on a busy Saturday lunch time. The dragon fruit cooler was so delicious that I had 2! Would highly recommend the Cajun chicken wrap which is packed with flavor and very filling. Love this little gem and will be back

Went with a party of 7 for dinner. Restaurant very busy with a big party as well as us 7. Food good but we were kept waiting for over an hour for our food. No one had the decency to tell us it was a long wait for food or any apology. The hour wait for food really spoilt the evening

A group of ladies from the local Pitney Lortie WI went to the Ilchester Arms for lunch and a short business meeting afterwards. We had requested a private room which was perfect for the number in our group and being able to have our business meeting, we were in the library. We had pre ordered our food, which arrived as soon as we were ready, it was served very quickly and the staff were very polite and efficient. Such a lovely pub and bistrot. We had a quick lunch but the Pannini and my Ploughman’s were so good and the service was excellent. It was charmingly decorated and very comfortable. Definitely going back. Plus it is opposite my favour shop Just Maria.

The 'Three Brothers' had a trip planned to the RNAS Yeovilton museum and booked the Ilchester Arms on spec off the website. We were not to be disappointed. Really great staff, good food - we had lunch, dinner and breakfast - well priced and very comfy and clean accommodation. An easy 5*s on every front and would have no hesitation in highly recommending the whole package to others.
