Very independent Cafe with two independent entrances and thus, exits.
The seating area is well hidden from the ordering area. Also there are outside tables to enjoy the morning sun.
Design is well blended modern with old.
And finally, coffee was excellent 👌.
Internet- … I would say, non existent despite the password on the wall.
So, enjoy the coffee and your mobile phone, as many do.

I got cardamom vanilla latte and my friend got Spanish latte. They were special drinks and we liked them. Cardamom vanilla latte was bit spicy as i expected and vanilla made it sweet. Baristas were lovely.

I think I’ve found the perfect toilet 😎

Amazing art, no his/hers/theirs/disabled toilet or anything, just a ‘toilet’, accessible to all, with grab rails, plenty of space to manoeuvre a wheelchair or buggy, a baby change, sanitary bin, normal bin, plenty of bog roll and everything immaculately clean.

As a dad of young kids I’ve often had to choose whether to change a baby on the floor of the men’s loo (🤮) or take my chances with a million apologies to try and access the baby change unit in the ladies’. Amazing how many places still don’t provide baby change in the men’s 🤯

Top marks to the Independent Cafe in Oxford 👌👏

I often come to Oxford for work, mostly to take my clients to different sightseeing places such as Christ Church. I sometimes have to wait for them while they are in the Christ Church, and this cafe is a perfect location for a quick break.
There are plenty of seats available inside, however, due to its good location, it can be busy during the day.
It is perfect to get your work done as there are big tables or counter seats with plugs available.
I appreciate this cafe a lot as it gives me such a relaxed vibe during my quick break from work.
The only thing was sometimes the service can be slow, so I’d recommend sparing at least 40-45 minutes if you plan to get sandwiches etc.

I went in for a quick breakfast. The latte was pretty good. I requested some sourdough toast and butter which was not on the menu and they happily served it. They have non-dairy options for milk.

Absolutely awful experience . Sunday afternoon : we got in in a group of 4 with a 4 months baby and a dog . 1. No one come to the table asking whether we wanted to order something or to let us know that table service wasn’t there perhaps ? Still don’t know 2. We basically got kicked out at 5 past 5 with a quite aggressive behaviour telling us to get out from the place as they were about to close and they needed to get the chairs on the table - 3. My friend was feeding a 4 months old and my husband was in the toilet, i ve asked if they could be patient and wait for just 5 minutes that my friend could finish with the kid and my husband getting off the bathroom - she said no you need to wait outside and asked me to move the trolley , the baby bag and 7 shopping bags as we just come back from Bicester village and plus has the dog lead - so again I’ve asked to wait 5 minutes that the others could come and help me she said no and she started putting ( almost throwing the chairs on the table) - absolutely unacceptable behaviour- rude and awful / In my opinion the owner should fire a blond waitress who clearly couldn’t care less about customer service and just wanted to go home .

Nice quaint cafe right opposite Christ Church. It seems to serve as a good working place with different options of seating from sofas to bar chairs. Good coffee, the menu is very basic in terms of food but the quality is good. Can easily spend some quality time chatting here.
