Absolutely lovely stay, we stayed with the rooms overlooking the lake and it was lovely the rooms do need a little TLC with possibly updating the shower and trim TVs cheap fixes if you done all the rooms. But would definitely stay here again for the price it was good value. The food was really good at the event as we had a Masonic ladies night and would have one here again. It’s really worth staying over for the night. If you can keep the ladies happy you have done a good job. Breakfast was nice as well and quickly served once you ordered the cooked menu. Many thanks to all the staff as they worked hard and we all commented on how quick the food was served and with a 100 attending they got it right. Thanks again to Natilie our guardian angel who works as one of the organisers.

I loved this hotel! It might need a bit of updating but it’s very clean, the staff are so friendly and the location is perfect.
I’m only knocking it down a star as there was an event on and it was VERY noisy when that finished. The other guests seem to have little regard for other guests but that’s not the hotels fault.

The newly opened spa was just lovely and Sam gave one of the best massages I’ve ever had.

We stayed here because I have gone past this hotel so many times in my life and I’m so glad I have. I’d love to come back but not when there is an event on.

We have used this Hotel for many years now, While working in the Kent Area. The Staff are very Friendly and Helpful, The Rooms are Clean and tidy, The Evening meals are nice and have a good Choice. The Breakfast is very good and plenty of choice.
They offer good value for money.
We always look forward to stopping at the Inn on The Lake,

I have stayed here on 2 occasions, both times staff were polite, helpful and cheerful.
Room was located by the river which was beautiful and also handy having a dog, however the bed was really lumpy which made it very uncomfortable so had minimal sleep which is not great having to do a 4 hour drive home.
I did inform the receptionist who said they were in the process of changing the mattresses and would put this one on the list.
A funny niggle, the TV is so small I had to stand near it to read the words in screen. Picture added 😂

We checked in as a family of three and a small dog and on first impressions the room was dated but clean. Plenty of hot water for a shower and the towels and bedding were clean.|We ended up having to check out early because of the mould around the windows. There were black patches and as my husband is asthmatic it seemed to affect him a little. We couldn’t take the chance so had to depart early. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was not much to write home about. Scrambled eggs are tasteless and the toast was cheap brown bread covered in margarine as opposed to decent bread with proper butter. Croissants and fresh fruit were fine. I wouldn’t return which is a pity as the venue has potential given its pretty location. It needs several hundred thousand pounds spending to bring up to date. The whole decor needs to change and they need to address the damp issues around the windows which is quite concerning.

This hotel, although the rooms are slightly dated, is ideally situated just off the M2, south of the Dartford crossing. This allows very easy access to the cross channel ferries, the channel tunnel and London.
It is very dog friendly, allowing dogs access to all areas of the hotel, including breakfast area and bar, all at a very reasonable price.
Very friendly amenable staff.
The breakfast is excellent value for money and is included in the room price.

Inn on The Lake always looks so beautiful when we drive past on the motorway. So I booked a couple nights for my boyfriends birthday. The hotel is dog friendly too so we took my boy with us. The room was large and had patio doors out to the lake. The only downsides to this was you can’t lock your patio door from the outside, and there was hardly any lighting so taking the dog to the toilet in the evening, we had to use our phone torch which wasn’t brilliant but still not a major problem of course. For the room itself, there was lots of space, dated decor but still clean and nice, the telly was extremely small in comparison to the room and wall space. Last thing to note is that my dog can sometimes be reactive, our neighbours were very loud with banging their wardrobe door and hangers, and also let their dog yap away which then put my dog on alert. Thankfully he calmed down quite quickly (as per hotel rules, owners must stop their dog barking swiftly). I guess not every hotel goer thinks about being quiet and polite or paying attention to the rules. Considering the hotel is on the motorway, if you are located on the lakeside, you can’t hear any traffic! Absolutely wonderful. Overall a great stay and I would go back again.

Mmmm where to start. Staff are helpful. Our room is large. Hotel is dated and needs a refurbishment. Evidence of mould in our room, damaged walls not repaired, bath has enamel missing, smallest tv I have ever seen in a hotel. How could it improve: put a spoon, rather than wooden stiring sticks on the tea/coffee tray, leave small glasses in room for water and mugs rather than tea cups, bulb needs replacing above dressing table. Luckily it wasn't cold/hot as there was no way to turn off/on the radiators. Hotel has so much potential though.
