Probably my favourite pub in town. Great atmosphere, great music line-ups and, most importantly, great staff. A place that retains their personnel and you see the same faces behind the bar. All of them are always helpful and friendly even when the place is packed with people as it was over this year's Fat Tuesday festival.

Love coming here and will come back again and again.

I recently stayed the night at the Jenny Lind, and also spent the evening in the pub too. It was a lovely stay, the staff were incredible, went above and beyond for our stay. It felt like home from home, the room was beautifully clean and everything we could have needed was there.

I first visited almost 15 years ago. Last visit was two years ago. A great pub with diverse offerings. Price point for ales was ok, keg ridiculously expensive. They used to be a destination pub for ales. I now have a feeling it is more of a sideline. I had an American pale ale. It was not quite on form, but they keep rotating their ales so maybe next time.

We can only speak for the Pub, but that was one of the best we have ever been to!
The selection was amazing and we were helped to find our perfect choice! We came back for a second drink the same day 🙂
Thumbs up from the Germans! You deserved your tip!

Good pub with lots of real ales and craft beers. There was a decent jazz band on when I checked in. A chess club in the back bar. The room was fine for me, but probably not somewhere to take your partner. Good towels though. Would go again. Close some brilliant fish and chip places.

Great pub, Simon is a good bloke, copes well with my never ending demands for dark cask ale! The other staff are good un's as well. My go to pub in the old town, Vinyl night on a Sunday evening is a great craic.

I stayed at the Jenny Lind for one night for a rock gig at the Carlisle pub on the seafront. The check in process was quick and easy and the man I spoke to was extremely friendly and very helpful. My room was pay on arrival so once I had settled that he took me up to show me my room. I had a lovely, comfy double bed, glass bottled mineral water in the little table top fridge, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits plus mini shower gel, shampoo, soap and a shower cap in the bathroom. The room was spotless and very quiet. There was a heater, fan and hairdryer in the wardrobe plus more pillows and another duvet. The pub closed at 11pm and apart from hearing people pack away for about 15-20 mins afterwards I heard no noise through the night. If you get back after the pub is closed then you go up the steps at the side and use the main door with your key on the first floor. I didn't book breakfast but if you do you are given a voucher for a set menu in the cafe across the road. There are many places for breakfast in Hastings town centre and I would definitely recommend the 1066 bakery. Their bacon and sausage sandwich was huge. I would love to go back to Hastings and would definitely stay at the Jenny Lind.
