Our room was beautiful. Bed very comfortable. You would never know you are on the town high st as gardens so peaceful. Staff could not have been more helpful and informative on history of contents and building. Would not hesitate to recommend

An opportunity to taste a bit of history in the headquarters of British Racing. You can spend hours just looking at the fantastic equine art and photos of the great and the good of Horse-racing in Britain. My room (No19) was a lovely clean, comfortable double room with all the usual ensuite facilities, however, if you are going to stay here, you must make it B&B, the breakfast is fantastic and the staff are attentive and efficient. All in all, you couldn't have better value for money. Highly recommended.

Easy booking experience and details provided of where to go, timings and what to do upon check-in. Lots of secure parking. Great location in the heart of Newmarket. From check-in to departure, all of the staff were so friendly, helpful, courteous and efficient. Our room was comfortable and extremely clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We visited the Bar late afternoon for drinks and met Bruno …. he was absolutely amazing and apart from serving lovely drinks, shared his extensive knowledge of the numerous paintings, history, works of art, trophies and exhibits. Our favourite picture was that of our late dear H.M. Queen Elizabeth II presented by The Jockey Club to its patron to mark her ninetieth birthday and also the Eclipse Foot presented to the Jockey Club in 1852. If you love horse racing and history then you must visit. The gardens are impeccably kept and peaceful. Having had a great night’s sleep, we went down to breakfast … superb service and a great choice of delicious food. We cannot wait to return. Thank you.

The premises were lovely clean and well presented. Breakfast was excellent and the service was very good. We made some kind of error with our booking, but the nice man on night duty found us a room and helped with our luggage. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, I couldn't speak highly enough of everyone. I would recommend the club to anyone even if you are not only there for the racing.

Attended an event and the welcome and staffing really were of the highest standard.
The artworks that this hotel and space has is full of British horse racing history. We had lunch which was good - didn’t stay so don’t know about the quality of the rooms.

Lovely, the location is spot on, on the high street, the building and grounds are so lovely! Superb and opulent, real historical with kind and attentive staff.
My room was nice, and spacious and loved the bath and heated bathroom flooring. Such a nice addition.
The bed nor the pillows were not comfortable to me, but that is probably a personal preference.
I still loved my stay and the property!

Arrived at the jockey club rooms to be met with electric gates! Utterly amazing! But if confusion with checking in - we were ringing on the club door but then ventured over to the chambers and checked in there. |The rooms were grand and very clean. The ONLY criticism I have is that the dresser by the window had drawers that I kept banging my legs on whilst trying to get ready and there wasn’t a plug socket near the mirror for the hairdryer and straighteners. First world problems!!!|Breakfast was amazing, quiet, serene and friendly. The selection was extensive and tasty when it arrived - obvs made fresh to order. It absolutely pained me to leave. It was so auiet and I slept the best I have in a while. Would definitely recommend.
