My friend and I had an enjoyable stay! They provide homemade shortbread and coffee/tea in the room. It’s a very cute hotel and it is within walking distance to the major attractions. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. For the price and what you get, we were very satisfied! Keep in mind there are no elevators.

Excellent friendly place to stay in a very central location. Room was “fully loaded” with everything needed. Very clean and not shabby. Top notch hospitality tray. And very quiet during the night. We stayed in a small room that still worked well and made it fantastic £ value for such a central location, particularly as breakfast optional and no pre booking it required, enabling eating in or going for a stroll to one of many central eating places. Parking easy either on street which we did, or in the large Bath City Podium car park around the corner (open 24 hours).

We loved our one night stay here during our road trip around England. Room was comfortable and large. The woman at the front desk was incredibly kind and helpful…I don’t remember her name but she really made us feel welcome!! Breakfast was minimal but tasty. There is no parking on property, but we found the cricket club garage ~10 walk away to be fine.

The hotel was run down , dirty the room was small not what we were expecting. Pillows very poor, shower dirty mouldy and door hanging off with dirty tiles in the ceiling a light or fan was nearly hanging out . Mould around the window. Ceiling looked as if it had had a leak at some point . No fire escape |If it hadn’t been for the receptionist sorting out as much as she could we would have found somewhere else to stay. Someone else had written a bad review about the room we had stayed in a year before and nothing had changed very disappointing room 8 moved to room 5 which was slightly better curtains had great big holes.

A very pleasant location, and well appointed, if small rooms. Staff pleasant, breakfast good. Would be excellent for a one night stay. However not having a working shower was poor.

The location is really the star of this place as it’s a quick walk into the city center. No parking so expect to drop your car off somewhere else in the city and expect to pay a minimum of 18 GBP a night - would’ve been nice to receive a discount of some sort from the hotel. Breakfast is included, however, it’s not a hot breakfast as was advertised… not entirely sure why they are charging 12 GBP for some toast, cold cuts and coffee. Laundry service was a disaster - guide in room was wrong and reception was busy downstairs doing breakfast and didn’t call the business in time to pick up my laundry resulting in me having to find an alternative (very inconvenient during my 3 months of traveling). If you need laundry done, make sure you drop it off by 8 AND make sure to ring the reception bell and watch them call the business. Would I stay here again? Probably not.

We stayed for a couple days. What a fantastic guest house. The room was comfortable and had everything you could need.
The location is perfect only a few minutes walk to the centre and all the attractions.

The guest information book was very useful and packed full of great information. The best one I have seen anywhere.

The honesty bar was a nice touch. The breakfast was excellent quality and had everything you could wish for. I have never stayed anywhere with such a varied choice of coffee and tea.
The staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely stay again if we were in Bath again.
