We had an absolutely incredible break here this weekend, the best we’ve had in years. I drove to the location late at night on a Friday, so finding the house initially was a little nerve-racking, but that was due to my own inexperience (parking, too, is a little tricky but the instructions provided are very detailed and helpful). Once we found the property (we stayed at No8 in room 2), we had an absolute blast — many thanks to Simon for all help and guidance and a great stay.

Before the room, I have to give a shout-out to the breakfast and the refreshments provided, the chocolate truffles are some of the best I’ve had in my life (I don’t even love truffles, but these were irresistible). The overnight oats pot is also great and so delicious. A lovely breakfast, but the chocolates are just next level.

The room is gorgeous, has the atmosphere and facilities of a 5-star hotel (better than most of those, frankly). The bath, shower, fluffy mats and the heated floors, as well as the lighting, were to die for, and it was great to have an armchair in the bathroom to be able to sit and talk. We will most definitely be back and had an absolutely great time.

Spent one night in room one.
Arrived to no WiFi, made a quick call and it was sorted straight away no messing, however if you want Netflix you must take your own account details.
Rooms very nice, but could do with some paint around the skirting boards as they have taken a beating.
Had a shower in the evening then went to have a shower in the morning, opened the door and came out gagging from the smell of the drains which was awful hence 4 star.
Breakfast great, plenty of food, overnight oats, cakes and orange 🍊 etc all very good.
Would stay again but drains would have to be sorted.

I booked for one night for my partners birthday and we stayed in No 7 which is the basement room. We were overly pleased with everything that came with this place. The room was heated perfectly, very clean and the bed was perfect for us. Yes, the mattress was hard but that is what we like and it did wonders for my back. Pillows are big and lush. The main highlight for me was the cellar bathroom. It was like a mini spa experience. A bathtub in one cellar, a sink in the next, then the toilet with an amazing powerful shower at the end with fancy rich smelling body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The blue floor spotlights made it very relaxing. The breakfast was all prepped for us to grab the next morning. Overnight oats, fruit salad, panettones, madeleines, orange juice, milk, water, tea's and coffees. We felt very looked after and the birthday card from the hosts were a lovely touch. We felt very secure and safe with the digital locks and Whatsapp contact with host. Also, the towels are big and fluffy so no worries about drying my hair with a tiny hand towel. We parked in Marlborough High Street 5 minutes away which is free from 6pm to 8am. The mi permit app is advisory if you have to pay for parking after these times as the pay machines are sometimes out of order.|Thank you very much for such a memorable time and we shall definitely book again soon.

Loved this place, easy to find and a fabulous room, so quirky and unique. Fabulous comfy bed. Short walk to lots of restaurants and shops. Great continental breakfast provided in the room fridge and muffins and fruit also provided. Plenty of street parking nearby

Fire safety major issue. Second floor bedroom flimsy ill-fitting door with big 1 inch gaps above and below. No fire doors on stairs. No fire escape No chance of exit from window. In the event of any fire below (in an old building full of exposed wood) toxic fumes would immediately enter bedroom. Plumbing a joke. No hot water, shower mixer taps spurting water up the wall sink plug system not working Good breakfast. Funky decor. No local parking as free spaces always full. Entry tortuous with codes to 2 doors. No staff present

What a find. Beautifully appointed rooms. You can drop stuff off then we parked for free in Frees avenue. Otherwise park on the high St free from 6pm to 8am. Dog loved it, his own bed. Breakfast in the room was overnight oats, cereals or madaleine buns or muffins and some tinned fruit. Coffee and loads of tea. Juice milk and water in fridge.

Perfect stay here in room 2 with my girlfriend for a night in Marlborough. We loved the room decor and bathroom, and the ease of entry with the lockboxes. Really well thought out space. Great staff too.

What a lovely stay. I booked my room quite late in the day and the team accommodated me no problem. The room was stunning. Would recommend room 7 if you get a chance to stay the bathroom is a converted vault with the original brickwork and felt like a sauna/spa.

Everything was thought through. Breakfast is in the room ready for you with fresh milk, orange juice, baked goods and homemade overnight oats / fruit salad in your mini bar. Tea and coffee is also provided. The bathroom was STUNNING and the rain shower felt like such a treat. Location just off the high street. Parked on the high street after 6 it’s free until 8 am and you can extend to 10 am which is checkout time.

Thank you for making my first visit to Marlborough so lovely - I be coming back.
