Had a wonderful experience here!
Very friendly bar maid called Ailsa, she literally couldn’t do enough for me and was very attentive.
Food was lovely, place was clean and well maintained, good beers, plenty of choice of drinks and on the food menu! No complaints, would certainly recommend!

The Kirton Cow was a decent stop for lunch on a quiet day in Crediton. It's nicely decorated, and was very quiet when we ate, late on a Sunday afternoon. The staff were very pleasant and friendly, and there was a good selection of beers available, which were poured well. The only negative for me was the portion size for my paella seemed a little small (the seafood was also tiny, especially the mussels) and the roasts could have done with more vegetables. Overall, a perfectly decent pub that is likely to improve further with time.

It is, I believe, one of the Wetherspoons pubs scheduled to be sold. I can understand why. Not the most interesting of buildings. Clearly has had no refurbishment for years . It was unusually empty for a Spoons. And we were treated to loud noises from upstairs, banging doors when staff took things like rubbish out, and barstaff who insisted on throwing empty bottles into two large plastic containers. Why they could not take one step further and place them quietly in the containers beats me. It felt like you were in a breaker's yard. The food, my wife assures me, was fine. I am a fan of Wetherspoons pubs ..cannot pass one without going in. This one is one I might just manage to resist ..unless I need to eat. It would then be tolerable. If the Devil drives needs must. But after we leave Crediton it will not be one I would rush back to if in the area. There are several lovely Spoons in Exeter, just down the road. And this one has the added distinction of being the only spoons we have been to...and we have been to a few! ...with no pizzas available! Inexplicable. Full stop...NONE . I have never before found fault with a Spoons. The breakfast I had was awful. The most tasteless sausages I have ever had the misfortune to sample.

Food took a long time to arrive despite the pub being empty. Burgers were poor quality and poor value (£13/14 each). Incorrect and missing sauces in the burgers. Arrived with chips in stead of fries because they had not yet received a food delivery. Table salt was damp. Coleslaw was cheap. Complained to staff only to be told that the chef was new. No offer of a refund. Disappointing experience but lady behind the bar was pleasant and the pints were good.

Staff fabulous, run off their feet. Food sadly not good. The disabled toilet was totally disgusting, staff member had to unlock it but there is no way it was cleaned that day, in fact the floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a year! The disabled access ramp was not fit for purpose and was also filthy dirty.

Went there for breakfast. It was quite expensive for what we got and the quality wasn't great. The food took a long time to arrive as well. The place had a nice atmosphere though.
