Lands' End Outlet and The Kitchen Cafe: A Rutland Gem
Oakham, the county town of Rutland, is home to a hidden treasure: the European headquarters of Lands' End. Not only does this mean access to quality clothing at discounted prices, but it also boasts a delightful café serving up delicious food at reasonable rates.

My recent visit to the Lands' End outlet and café was a delightful experience. The cafe's self-service system was straightforward, allowing me to browse the food and drink options at my leisure. The selection was impressive, offering a variety of breakfast, lunch, and snack items. I opted for a hearty breakfast and a cup of coffee, which came to a very reasonable £6.60.

The food was fresh and tasty, and I particularly enjoyed the Denby Pottery crockery that added a touch of elegance to the meal. The friendly staff made me feel welcome and ensured that my visit was enjoyable.

Overall, the Lands' End outlet and café is a fantastic addition to Oakham's local amenities. Whether you're looking for a bargain on clothing or a delicious meal, this hidden gem is well worth a visit.

Happened to drop on this place a few months ago & have been going ever since, the food is amazing, great value for money, when so many places that do overpriced food that isn’t nowhere near as good as this place.
The staff are excellent, so friendly, well mannered & always remember me.

Sunday roast on a Thursday, a lovely meal .
You have a choice of three meats and a pick of vegetables plenty to eat.
There are other choices of meals too.

A lovely open space restaurant with excellent freshly cooked food at a very reasonable price. The staff are very friendly and helpful, I've been here many times over the last 10 years and it's consistently maintained a high standard of service, delicious food and friendliness. A relaxing environment where you do not feel rushed like fast "food" establishments. Highly recommended!

What a wonderful welcome place.
Especially the guy on the door who found us table at the company I Christmas dinner as we had travelled far. Very clean and smart decor. Food was typical Christmas lunch, tasty turkey and nice trimmings, Good level access for my wife's disability and such great kindness and great service -Will be back!!

A wide range of food available - coffee and cake to main meals. Meal menus change daily and are published weekly in advance. Serves the public and Land's End office / warehouse staff. Good value and has special deals such as 2 roast meals and 2 drinks for £18 on Thursdays. Fruit, salad and vegetable choices are better than most other cafes. Staff are very pleasant. Modern clean seating inside plus benches and umbrellas outside. Open 9 am to 3 pm on weekdays and 9 to 2 on Saturdays. Is situated next to the Land's End shopping outlet

I popped in on Friday 10th after visiting the Outlet, which was good. However, the Kitchen was not. The food was OK, but there was a chap working behind the counter who really put me off eating anymore off my food so I left it. He was constantly picking food up from the displays and popping it in his mouth between what he was doing, no hand washing at all. He handled cooked and raw foods with no hand washing. He kept wiping his hand over his hair/head and then handling food, again no hand washing or protective gloves in evidence, this whole episode made me wonder what other hygiene rules are ignored in this place. Definitely will not be returning, ever.
