I needed to get a bed for the night while travelling and this just about served its purpose. The hotel is clean and the room fairly comfortable but that is as far as it goes. There are no food or drink facilities. If you want to eat or drink you have to go elsewhere in town. That includes breakfast and the choice is basically 2 local cafes that open at 8:30. Not good if you need an early start.

What an absolute disgrace that this place is allowed to be open ! It has one good thing about it , the lady on reception is very nice and that’s where it ends .AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. paid nearly £100 for a room and it isn’t worth £10 jacuzzi bath was unusable because it’s so dirty and broken , I couldn’t risk it . Pillows like bricks , no headboard .settee in room is broken and you sink down into it and struggle to get up. Yes plenty of tea and coffee but you have to put kettle on floor to use it .then alarms went off and the real fiasco began. Please do your homework before you stay here . Plenty of other hotels to choose from , ones that deserve to be called hotels . And management were nowhere to be seen , and the booking agents are way less than professional . If you are used to hotel stays do not use this place . I forgot to mention it’s stinks of cats and dogs . Lovely .

Broken lift, no breakfast, no staff in the evening or morning, TV in room didn't work, shabby room and not even headboard on the bed, very tired and looks like the owners have given up!! on the plus side, young girl on reception was nice and doing her best, WIFI was decent and shower was strong, massively overpriced at £120 a night. Wouldn't stay again.

Fiasco at check in when it turned out our room had been given to someone else and they couldn't decide if we needed to pay any extra!!! I think not, your mistake not mine!|Finally checked in to our deluxe room. I assume deluxe meant we had a bed....|A very tired room with basic furnishings. Spare pillows but no pillow cases.|Bin hadn't been emptied from previous residents and the carpet not properly cleaned. Found hair grips etc.|Bathroom looked very impressive with a large P shaped jacuzzi bath. But that didn't actually work. |I don't think we'll be rushing back

We stayed here the night before going to the Phil Price rally school. The guy at reception was lovely and couldn't have been more helpful even to the point we left a phone charger in the room and they contacted us to let us know and posted it back to us for no charge! The room was spacious, the beds were comfy and the bathroom and shower were far better than other hotels at this price point. I hope to return again whenever we pass that way.

Let's put these fake nice comments aside and talk about the facts. :)))

I am commenting as someone who had to live in this hotel for 6 months due to my husband's job.

All of the problems written here have been shared with employees each time to find a solution or to inform them. But not once was a solution offered and nothing was fixed.

1- It's been a month since we moved and they still haven't refunded our deposit. Every time we call they say they will send it but they don't, it's literally fraud!!!!!!

2-Your food and drinks are constantly stolen from your refrigerator and no solution is offered for this.

3- I saw the family living and working there using our materials a few times, despite the name and warning written on them, and they continued to use them without any shame.

4-The hotel is always dirty! The inside of the kitchen kettle is full of lime, the pots and pans have no handles, the Teflon insides are scratched, the plates, forks and ALL other kitchen utensils are constantly greasy and dirty, in short, all the utensils in the kitchen are constantly dirty!!!

5-The belongings of the family who work and live here are constantly in the kitchen or dining room, for example, there is a risk of stepping on any toys and falling, and they never clean their belongings and put them in their closets. They act as if they are the only ones living in that hotel or as if they are the real owners of the hotel!

6- The only thing hotel employees do is drink tea and coffee all day long and gossip. Neither the hotel employees care about the hotel nor the management care about the hotel!!! There is no solution to any problem you have, on the contrary, things get even more absurd.

7-Especially the man in the family who lives and works there starts drinking alcohol at 7 in the morning! Alcohol is consumed during working hours.

8-The children of the working family constantly wander around screaming, they do not pay attention to their children, and although they write warnings there, the child is always in the kitchen. The kitchen is a dangerous environment.

9- The working family does not feel like they are employees of the hotel, they feel as if the hotel is their home and you have come to their home by force :)))) They are in the kitchen and dining room 24 hours a day, you have to wait for them to finish their work to cook in the kitchen, because they occupy all the materials They never clean what they dirty. !

10-The working family constantly and loudly listens to music through the phone's speaker!!! Sometimes they talk on the phone. If you are planning to have a meal in a calm and peaceful way, don't even think about it because you are not a guest who paid to rest in that hotel, you are the people who broke into that family's house!!!!! 🙂 ))))

11- Before we started staying at the hotel, my wife specifically asked where and how we would wash our personal belongings and was told that everyone living in the hotel could use the washing machine whenever and however they wanted!!!! We were also told that we should wash the sheets and towels you used at the hotel here. However, a few months later, we received an e-mail from the hotel saying that we had to do our laundry ourselves, “they said no one staying at the hotel can use the hotel machine anymore” and we said okay. We followed the rule. But we saw that the family who work and live here still use the hotel's washing machine to wash their personal belongings as they wish :))) This discrimination is a lie and rude. Other employees know this too!!!! If there is a rule and it includes the people living there, THEY MUST FOLLOW THESE RULES LIKE EVERYONE LIVING THERE!!!

12- You may suddenly be left without electricity in the hotel or get sick from the cold. These break down very frequently and employees do not offer solutions.

13- The woman in the family working at the hotel is VERY RUDE and RUDE!!!! Walking on him while he's walking on the street, interrupting him while he's talking, vs.

Paid £80 for this disaster of a night.

Was listed to have a Hot tub, no hot tub to be found. No explanation apart from that it’s not in use or has never worked
Room was worn and stunk of urine or maybe warm plastic?
No toiletries were in sight or hand soap replenished so had to buy from grocery shop across the street
Toilet roll not reloaded so had to settle for some on the floor by the broken towel radiator in the bathroom.

1st floor drum n bass rave in full effect with residents shouting over music. As this was supposed to be a treat for my girlfriend’s birthday and the fact we had traveled well over 2 hours each way has to put it mildly, made me absolutely furious
This simply, is not good enough
Such a shame that the management will not see this as an ever-present ongoing issue

Anomaly Unit

The Knighton hotel is directly in Knighton town. The rooms are great, nice and clean. The staff are very welcoming. Although the one bog upside is the shared kitchen, it has all the essential tools.
