We had a blast staying here. Shaunie was the best! Becky made us an amazing breakfast and everyone was so nice. Highly recommend if you're not a miserable wretch and like to support a local family business.

Review for pub only - used to be a lot better than it is. It’s fine but feels functional rather than welcoming these days. Okay range of beers and price is reasonable.

So overall fine without being anything stand out

The room hasn't been cleaned before we arrived- previous occupants rubbish in bin, shower gel instead of soap in the bathroom and the lights had been smashed up. So had the bed frame. Lots of things in the photos we're missing in person.

We probably could have forgiven that and just got on with our night, but the owners dog attacked ours, twice. It didn't help that the owners sat themselves with their dog immediately outside our room, so there was no way to come back without going past. As another reviewer says, dogs toilet is immediately in front of your room door as well.

We left an hour after check in and found other accommodation.

Booked a room in the BnB through booking.com, the room was a true reflection of the photos. On arrival you book in at the bar which was easy enough the landlord was very friendly. Unfortunately the door to our room in the pub courtyard appeared to be the dogs toilet. Several times I had to ask the bar staff to clear up piles of dog mess. Not being able to open your windows because of the smell is disappointing. The cheapest accommodation in Marlborough and it appears you get what you pay for. I can’t comment on the included breakfast but there are plenty of nice cafes in town.

I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay here and absolutely nothing was too much trouble for the hosts who I believe have not long been in post. The room was great. The bed was comfortable and I happened to stay on fantastic evening filled with great music in the courtyard which I thoroughly enjoyed. The people were lovely and the breakfast was also really nice. The owners really went the extra mile for me and I am extremely grateful to them. Really great people. Thank you very much for a fantastic stay. Also, kudos to the young man who checked me in upon arrival. He had exceptional manners and was very nice which is always appreciated after a long drive; this really does set the tone of an establishment and he smashed it. 👍🏼

Spotlessly clean room and a very good breakfast. First impressions of the pub are not great I’m afraid . It’s a drinkers pubs and the beautiful flowers etc outside on the main picture no longer exist. Having said that, we had a very comfortable stay and the lady who made breakfast was charming and a very good cook!! The staff were helpful & friendly . It’s a pub not a boutique hotel so don’t stay here if you are wanting posh bits and bobs !

I was staying with friends but in a single room, and my room was fine. Comfy bed, nice bathroom, very central. I stayed for 4 nights and in that time there was no cleaning, bin emptying etc which wasn’t actually a problem for me but may bother some people. No soap or shower gel provided.|Starting with positives there was a very nice breakfast included, and the two women who made breakfast were great and very friendly.|I’m afraid the negatives though outweighed the positives. As this small pub is a busy and loud music venue at weekends, and I mean very busy and very loud, which really didn’t make it suitable as a b&b, especially if you were staying with kids. Noise went on past midnight, which I normally don’t mind but as I was on a cycling trip was not what I’d expected. It also meant it was a total tip on Sunday morning, so we were having breakfast in a pretty grim messy room.
