First time back to the Lane Head since under new management, we always tend to stay here when visiting family in Brighouse. |We dealt with Julie, firstly on the phone and then Linzi. Both were extremely helpful and professional in their dealings. A busy hotel, a lot of locals in having food for valentines and the restaurant was decorated lovely for the event. Gorgeous snug little bar with a roaring open fire. Had we not been meeting friends out for dinner which was pre booked, we'd have happily eaten here and had a few night caps by the fire. ||Room was lovely, very comfy bed and fluffy, good quality pillows. Plenty of hot water for showers next morning. ||Breakfast was amazing, plenty of it and a massive pot of tea for me and freshly brewed coffee for my husband. They even asked the night before if we wanted anything in particular for breakfast, I mentioned to Julie that my husband was gluten intolerant and they pulled out all the stops to make sure there was a delicious, gluten free breakfast for him too, including the yummiest G.F sausages either of us have ever had, I meant to ask where they'd gotten them so we could take some back to Ireland. ||Overall, a really good stay at the Lane Head and we would certainly stay again and recommend it to anyone staying in the area. Very good location wise too, a nice 10 minute stroll brings you to the town centre. Well done Linzi and Julie.

What a great find this hotel is, just stayed for the weekend and was made to feel so welcome. Stayed in the four poster room and is very quirky, loved it. Ideally situated for going to Peice Hall concerts, 15 minutes by bus. Staff are great, prices are good for a hotel . Would definitely stay again. Thanks too Linzy & team 👍

We attended a funeral tea yesterday and I have to say despite the sad circumstances it was absolutely lovely. The food was lovely (especially the Greek salad!) The lady who was on duty I presume she was the landlady was very professional and made sure everything ran smoothly I would definitely recommend this place for any function. Thank you for making my best friends dad's life celebration one to remember hope the neighbours didn't mind the bagpipes

Didn't stay in any accommodation here so unfortunatley cannot comment on the rooms.
Went for Mothers Day Sunday lunch. Food was absolutely fantastic all vegetables were freshly cooked and the meat was to die for. Desserts are delicious and homemade, we got them free due to it being Mothers Day.
Service was excellent the waitresses were professional, welcoming, friendly and efficient. Dog friendly too so will definitely be back with the fur baby.

Wow… what a fab night out on by the hotel for paddy’s weekend. ||Great entertainment, loved the live music and the Irish dancers. It was so nice to see all the staff getting involved which mad the evening so much more fun. ||We loved the inflatable Irish suits the girls wore. His knows how they did it as they all worked so hard.||Well done, can’t wait for the next one

We celebrated my daughter's 13th bday here and we had an amazing time. The room was plenty big enough for our party size and the staff were brilliant. The karaoke/DJ lady (sorry didn't get her name) was brilliant and had all the kids and teens up dancing early on, would highly recommend the Lane Head for functions. Looking forward to attending again for the Pink tribute night!

Went today for Mothers Day carvery. It was very good. Either beef,pork or gammon. I had beef and pork which was very tender.Tons and tons of different veg. Mothers got a free desert. I had chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We will definitely be back.

We’ve stayed here for 4 nights. A little issue at first which was resolved straight away. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly, would definitely look at staying again if we stayed in the area. Prices are very fair for us as a family of 5. We’ve enjoyed our stay staff has made us feel very welcome.
