Amazing Stay at The Larches – 10/10 Experience!
I had an absolutely fantastic stay at The Larches in Wolverhampton. I have to say the customer service was exceptional—friendly, responsive, and made the whole process seamless. The room itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had a warm, homely feel. The bathroom was equally impressive, super clean, and well-equipped. All the instructions for finding the property and accessing the room were very clear, which made check-in easy. Overall, it was a perfect experience from start to finish. I’d highly recommend The Larches to anyone visiting Wolverhampton. Definitely a 10/10 stay!

This was a real treat as we stayed in the lodge.
If you like a steady walk out of town then this is the place for you
It does take about 20 minutes from the bus station to stroll to the lodge but it's well worth the walk
I only have one slight piece of negative feedback and that was the water damage to the floor in the bedroom, by the clothes rail
It didn't affect our stay and it wasn't unsafe but it does look a little unsightly to be honest
The service we got was excellent
We had an issue upon entry and an issue with Netflix to reset it and both were resolved within seconds of calling the service desk
How fantastic is that
To be honest it was our fault in the entry code issue but I wanted to point out how quickly we were responded too and how attentive the operator was. Superb
Great value for money
An entirely new experience for us
Would highly recommend
Thank you so much for an excellent stay
We will be back if you will have us xx

A very mixed review. This is not a hotel. It it a self service Airbnb. It's situated in, what looks like a potentially up and coming area of Wolverhampton, but for every well kept house on the street there were a number of rough ones. Walking into the city centre there was rubbish and furniture in the street. When we arrived there was no parking anywhere in the vicinity. Later in the evening spaces appeared which suggests the area is used as a free parking area to avoid charges. |On a positive the room, although small, was well appointed and clean. The bed was comfortable. Pillows a little firm, but that's personal preference. We also had very good contact with the GM Jay.|However, The Larches is a mid terrace house that has been converted into an upmarket HMO. There is little or no sound proofing between rooms and floors. We heard the front door opening and shutting and noise from occupants in the rooms next to us and above us throughout the night which disturbed our sleep.

Stayed here one night as I was attending an event in the city centre.||Pros - |* The room was spotlessly clean|* Modern bathroom |* Security is good (2 keypad entry doors)|* Nice bedding|* Decent location ||Cons -|* Room was tiny |* Advertised as a 'hotel' but it's a converted terraced house. The word hotel definitely gives the impression there will be staff on site, food options etc.|*No car park despite being advertised - just street parking|*Clunky check in - no staff on site, so someone calls you to take the security deposit and texts you with details of how to enter.|*Room number 3 where I was staying is directly next to the kitchen, so you get all of the noise from there (tumble dryer right next to the wall etc).|*Door slamming when guests move between kitchen and garden room.|* No black out blinds/curtains - very bright in the morning.||Bearing in mind all of the negatives I probably wouldn't stay here again if I come to Wolverhampton in the future.

I stayed here with friends in February and the 'deluxe' room was described completely inaccurately. The room was tiny, about the width of the bed, and by comparison my friends' room had cost them less and was bigger. None of the facilities were as described. The kitchenette and dining area are actually elsewhere in the building. I called the manager's mobile number right away to check I was in the correct room, sadly I was. Some of the things listed were not there at all, and the manager Jay said the room description had been inaccurately copied over from a different room. Then said he would offer me a discount/refund into my booking.com account by way of apology. The discount/refund never arrived. I see from a previous review they have done this trick before. I followed up after a few weeks. The manager blamed the admin team and said it would be chased up. Since then I have emailed and called regularly to chase this, and the manager has refused my calls and not replied to emails. The booking.com help/chat assistant just repeatedly tells me to keep contacting the property. The inaccurate listing is still live on booking.com and still misleading customers.

We have just returned from a one night stay at The Larches in one of their ground floor rooms.|Tastefully decorated and absolutely spotlessly clean. Plenty of hot water and a very comfortable bed with a selection of pillows. Tea, Coffee, Biscuits, Hairdryer, Iron, Ironing Board and Shower Gel and Shampoo provided. The most beautiful fluffy white towels too.|Communication with Jay was excellent! He emailed us through the codes to enter the building and also to enter our room on the day of arrival.|Would definitely recommend!

Fabulous stay. Nothing but exceptional standard of accommodation at The Larches, Wolverhampton 12 March 2024. Very high standard of decor/fittings. Very comfortable bed, good linen, loads of good towels. Table/comfy chairs, fridge microwave and the welcome note a nice touch. No reception, worried about security code process but contact for access on the day by text worked well. Quiet location, free street parking and 10 minute taxi ride to centre of city and very competitively priced to other chain hotels. Great visit will certainly book again.
