Four of us had a lovely lunch, with myself & one of our friends celebrating our Birthdays, so got the Birthday discount on our meal. Food was excellent, & a really good plateful. Only slight negative was that we felt the music was a bit loud, but not enough to put us off returning. Will definitely be back.

Visited for some food Sunday afternoon. Wasn't particularly busy but I would still recommend booking a table. We had 2 starters 2 mains and 3 drinks. Came to £60 which we thought was reasonable. Service was quick and the food was fab. We will definitely be going again.

We got married at this amazing place on Saturday and it was truly the most perfect day. Stevie and Lee are absolutely fantastic, not a single hiccup and the guests are still messaging us both about how amazing their food was, which we completely agree it was the best. IlWe are so grateful to you both and all the staff for making our day as perfect as it was. X

Had a lovely last minute stay here. Staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. Room was a little dated but very comfortable all the same. Good breakfast which set me up for the day. Would definitely come here again.

We were very excited to celebrate our wedding anniversary at Lauren Bank Hotel with a beautiful breakfast, we’ve seen the program “Four in a Bed” and just thought the place was great and the breakfast sublime, we’ve seen the reviews and everything was perfect for a great Sunday’s breakfast. So we decided to book a table for two.
When arriving the place was full, and is understandable because was a wedding at the same time and it’s normal to be busy. We understood that.
But after 50 minutes waiting to be served. (from 10:30h to 11:20h) we had to leave with an empty stomach. It is shame, because I think the place, the quality of the food and even the management is great, but we hadn’t good luck.
A couple of sausage rolls from the supermarket at front was our” special “ breakfast. 🤷🏻‍♀️
Hopefully they can sort this issue about the delay and we will give it a try again.
I insist, Lauren Bank Hotel is a good place to celebrate but maybe that day ( 2nd February 2025) wasn’t the best day for some customers.
I’m sure they will do their best next time.
By the way, not everything is bad, the coffee is delicious, very tasty. 😃
Looking forward for a Full Fife Breakfast next time.

Popped in on 5th April, before going to a charity concert, to see if we could get a meal. Restaurant was very busy (& fully booked) but we were asked if we would like to eat in the small bar? Not a problem for us. Food and service was excellent and very efficient
( Hoewever our experience was spoiled slightly by a large group who were so LOUD we couldn't hear ourselves at all - I used a decibel reader app and THEY were hitting 115 to 120 decibels the whole time in the RED zone = nightclub level noise !!!) This wasnt anything that the staff could be held responsible for however.

Excellent service and fun staff. Room was clean, large and functional, food (breakfasts and evening menu) very good too. Located well for exploring this part of the Scottish lowlands

Having been in the hotel for meals/functions in the past, I had no concerns when booking a room for an evening. Unfortunately, the room did not live up to my expectations. After waiting at least 10 minutes at reception for someone to check us in (there were no other guests checking in and the restaurant had not yet opened) we were given room 9. The room was dated, the bathroom was in need of some urgent upgrades and was also tiny - my partner who is 6ft was unable to sit straight on the toilet without hitting the radiator.
The hotel had a function on that evening and we would have been aswell sitting with them. The music was so loud that the floor was vibrating. You could feel the beat whilst lying in the bed! This carried on until 12.30am. In the morning, we were woken around 6.30am by staff and a strange banging in the walls. Having had enough, we checked out first thing. This was one of the worst sleeps I've had in any hotel and was extremely disappointing.
