My husband and I booked a last minute stay at The Lawns apartment and we were not disappointed! We were looking for somewhere relaxing, dog friendly and with a hot tub.
The apartment which is part of a Victorian house was absolutely stunning. The original details like the tiled flooring in the entrance hall and French doors off the bedroom and lounge were beautiful and provided easy access to the large grounds.
The hot tub was huge and just what we needed after a long journey and our various beach walls and local national trust visits.
Our host Halina was very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. Holt is a beautiful area to visit with lovely bars, restaurants and shops and the apartment is in the ideal location to walk into Holt.
There is a supermarket ‘Budgens’ within a stones throw from the property which was ideal. The tv and entertainment system were first class and we enjoyed movies each evening after our hot tub.
We would definitely visit again and highly recommend staying here, thank you!

I stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment, which is fabulous. Off street parking, beautifully warm, well equipped, loads of room, close to a supermarket, and all the fabulous independent shop Holt has to offer. What a joy.

We booked the house & apartment for 3 nights for my wife’s 40th birthday and had a fantastic party weekend for 15 of us. We had a brilliant time, and loved all the space, the huge grounds, the hot tub, the cosy fireplace and having a table that could seat 18 for dinner. Lots of parking, and great to be in a “country house” whilst being right in town so people could wander out and do their own thing. Easy buses to sheringham for trains (and swimming) and having a supermarket literally next door made things very easy too. Very helpful hosts - all good. Thanks for a fantastic stay! We’d definitely come again.

Booked this house for hen weekend celebrations. The house was absolutely perfect for our needs. It slept 10 of us comfortably and was well equipped with everything you could need. The gardens are immaculate and a joy to gaze at from the hot tub! The location is great and so convenient to have a supermarket next door for those provisions you forget to pack. It has a very grand ambience yet we didn't feel that we couldn't relax and make ourselves at home. Some cottages have hundreds of rules to abide by but we were trusted by the owners to respect the house and we really appreciated that. Will definitely consider this house for future occasions.

We have stayed in both the main house and the apartment this year. This place is such a brilliant find, most particularly because Holt is a very upmarket and popular town to visit any time of year. The house is large, welcoming and makes you feel rather grand with its magnificent rooms, staircase and garden. The apartment is modern, has everything you need and a fabulous bathroom. For us, this accommodation is perfect. They make you feel very welcome with your dog (not a second-class citizen) and they are very relaxed but helpful and accommodating at the same time. The accommodation is right in town, perfect to walk everywere with no need for the car (and there is loads of parking available). I would recommend the house and the apartment to anyone who likes comfort with all the amenities to hand and who enjoys relaxing in the property or spending time in Holt, especially with the dog. We will return on a fairly regular basis I would imagine. They have worked really hard to make this accommodation the place of choice and it is also reasonable prices. To be honest, I would rather keep it our little secret but it is too good not to recommend to others. Many thanks.

It was a dream we never wanted to wake up from.
We arrived after a very long journey well after midnight fearing that we are disturbing. We were instead welcomed in the night with a bright smile and a warm heart that made us immediately feel welcomed home. That is how the dream began. The grandeur of the staircase; the spaciousness of the bedroom and bathroom; the quality and good taste of the design and renovations; the well equipped kitchen; everything promised great memories to come. But the surprises were still to come. After a well resting sleep in beds we just did not want to get out of we drew the curtains to find the morning sun shining over an endless beautiful garden. Breakfast in the garden was supplied by a quick walk to the Budgens just across the street. Visiting Holt and the North Norfolk Coast has been wonderful and retiring to the house was even more so. All in all, it was unexpected how at home, and comfortable we felt using all the facilities of the house, even though it looked like we were in a national trust building. The house is ideally equipped for self catering. One of the highlights of the stay was the midnight hot tub bath gazing at the moon and the stars with the smell of honeysuckle in the air sipping on white wine. Yes, it was a dream we never wanted to wake up from.

This was a perfect weekend for a group of 12 with different aged kids. The house and grounds are amazingly spacious. Garden is huge, with use of a trampoline and climbing frame and the odd chicken to feed too. We loved that for once 12 people could sit spaciously around a dining table! It's easy access for all the activities in and around north norfolk and you feel secluded (although it's only 1 minute walk to budgens!). Plenty of games available for some evening entertainment. Feels as though everything had been thought of and we loved the hot tub. We can't rate this highly enough and have decided to visit every year for a family get together because the house worked so well for us all. Exceeded our expectations!

Amazing experience garden and house stunning kept all the children and adults entertained for hours. Hot tub was a added luxurious bonus. I would definitely recommend to others. The owner of the property is a very welcoming and accommodating man he was on hand for any queries and always willing to help. Lovely experience one of the best Holidays ever.😊
