Just returned after our 3 night Easter break. Arrived at The Leeway to a warm & friendly greeting by Karen & Garry, who offered us cake upon arrival & showed to us to our room (Room 5). Lovely, large room at back of house, comfy bed, a lot of storage space and lovely bathroom (sink in bedroom not in bathroom). Breakfast was a good selection and you could mix & match and it was all cooked to perfection. Additional tea, coffee & biscuits were available throughout the day. An Easter egg was placed on our breakfast table on Easter day morning which was a lovely touch. |The Leeway is ideally situated in a quiet part of Whitby, close to shops, bars & restaurant's. A nice downhill walk into the town and a steady walk back on an evening. |All in all, we had an excellent stay & good luck to you both in your retirement and enjoy the next chapter of your life.

Another great stay at The Leeway, Karen and Garry always make us welcome. We had a 3 night stay in Stoker Room, on the ground floor, it has a very comfortable Super King bed, there's a good range of hot drinks and biscuits to choose from. The room is nicely furnished and decorated, with a relaxing seating area.|The Leeway is ideally located for access to local shops, restaurants and visiting the surrounding area.|The breakfast choices are excellent and I highly recommend the specials, which are all expertly prepared by Karen. We never leave disappointed are already looking into our next stay.

What a superb place. Arrived on a very windy and rainy day but the welcome made our journey up worth it, we were offered cake but declined as we were off to the races, but what a nice gesture. The room was spotless bed was so comfy the breakfast freshly made and filling. It's in good walking distance into the town. We stayed a few years ago and definitely won't leave it so long next time, we forgot just how nice Whitby was . Thankyou for a lovely stay xx

The room was very clean and comfortable and the owners were very welcoming. The breakfast was fantastic, particularly the smoked haddock and poached eggs. The location is excellent - just a short walk into the town and to all the llocal tourist attractions. I highly recommend a stay at the Leeway if you're visiting Whitby.

We had a great stay at The Leeway. It is very handy for the town, whilst being in a quiet street. The owners are lovely and welcoming and the house is extremely comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious and the bedrooms are very well-appointed.

Our annual Whitby weekend trip. Excellent hotel karen & Garry always very welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Hotel very clean and cosy . Excellent Breakfast and a lovely welcome piece of cake. We defo be coming back Thanks Karen & Garry 👍👍👍

Had a lovely 2 days away stay in this lovely B&B. Gary and Karen were both very nice people, made us feel welcome and relaxed. Rooms are very clean and comfortable and breakfast was great!!!

This was our 2nd Wedding Anniversary and our second stay at the Leeway. Garry and Karen are fabulous hosts and nothing is too much for them. The leeway is in a super location and i would highly recommend a stay here.
