Absolutely brilliant cafe, Cornish Breakfast will feed you for the day, all food beautifully cooked and plenty on the plate. Cakes and sandwiches all made fresh and delicious by the propritess, crab sandwich is a must. The atmosphere is wonderful and very friendly and welcoming. Ate there everyday (except Wednesday,closed for a well deserved day at the beach). Thanks for the excellent food,banter and welcome, hope you enjoy your bottle of wine. This is such a hidden gem of a cafe, the food is so tasty, we have had a few different things off the menu now and each time the food has always been delicious, because it is all homemade with fresh ingredients. The staff are so friendly they always make you feel welcome and it’s very reasonable too, would definitely recommend!

The most delicious vegan cream tea, run by the nicest ladies and such a wonderful little treat of a cafe!

We popped in earlier in the day to ask about their vegan cream tea and what time they close, they were super kind and recommended popping back a couple of hours later. When we did, the owners recognised us and welcomed us in, the cafe was empty at this point but quickly filled up again. This place is run by vegans so there are tonnes of great vegan/veggie options, and the traditional vegan cream tea is utterly delicious!

We had a lovely chat with the owners about being vegan in Cornwall and the best places to visit in the little harbour towns, they also know of many of the vegan restaurants around us in London, and even gave us tips for making their delicious home made scones ourselves. We couldn't have asked for a better experience here and can't wait to visit again the next time we're in beautiful Mevagissey!

Lovely friendly café with a great atmosphere. We had a full Cornish breakfast and it was superb. The quality of the ingredients were exceptional. I had my eye on the cakes too, but maybe next time!

Came across this gem today !!!
Sat by a lovely local couple very welcoming atmosphere.
Me and my husband had a lovely full English breakfast which was good value for money and tasty too.
The only down side was I was full up and did not have room for a piece of home made cake baked by the owner!!!!

Lovely cafe, wonderful service. Ordered breakfast asked to have an item left off. Lady brought my breakfast and had added a extra item. Great service. The two ladies that run it were also lovely. And very professional. Would highly recommend, but go early not a lot of room. Also lovely homemade cakes.

Visited The Lighthouse Cafe today on our day trip into Mevagissey. Beautiful little village and a lovely little cafe to visit to start the day! We ordered the Bacon, Brie & Cranberry Toastie. My partner had a Vanilla Latte and myself an orange juice. The toastie is one of the best I’ve had, packed full and great value! The 2 ladies there were friendly and welcoming. Would love to visit again if we’re back down in Cornwall on future holidays. Thank you😊
