Beautiful location and delicious food. The team is friendly and welcoming and can not do enough for you. There are fire pits in the patio areas that are covered, and there are heaters on the walls to make it a really cosy place to sit. The seats outside are also covered in cushions, and some have blankets.

A hidden gem nestled in the countryside. I visited with my mum after reading the reviews and we weren't disappointed - the food was absolutely delicious, staff were very freindly and welcoming, and the rooms were beautiful. Lovely walks nearby and location is so peaceful. We will definitely be returning, thank you for a wonderful stay.

We arrived on Friday night for a family dinner to celebrate my 22year old daughter’s birthday. A very warm welcome with a surprise complimentary glass of bubbly for the birthday girl. We were taken to our table by Ollie who was an excellent host, along with all other staff who served us. Our drinks and food orders were taken and drinks were delivered promptly. Starters to share were delicious (Spiced pulled lamb naan breads, Mixed herb and garlic bread with cheese) and all the mains were good. Portions were generous so only one pudding was ordered. Cocktails, wine, ales, soft drinks, non-alcoholic lager and coffees flowed - great selection! Even a birthday cocktail arrived, which was delicious and very much appreciated. ||Thank you to the Litton and all staff who made our family meal so special - we’ll definitely be returning for a second (and more) visits.

Excellent venue. Place was packed when we visited - because it is so good. We travelled up from Dorset to meet family and it was the perfect meeting place. Efficient professional staff. Great range of drinks and ales. Food was faultless. Well done Litton I can remember when this place was derelict but it certainly isn’t now.

Had a great lunch at The Litton. Perfect food and friendly service. Dog friendly too - our Labrador appreciated the goofy treats. We are regular visitors and enjoy the good every time. Lovely location not far from Wells and Bath. Looking forward to the next visit

I have a home in Peasedown St John but now live in Manchester and own a cocktail bar on Canal Street called Oscars.
My family still live here so we came for dinner for some family time. It was all wonderful but we have to call out Ollie for his superb customer service. He is first class and inspirational for anyone in hospitality. Your personality shone through. Thank you for a wonderful evening. Kevin and David

What a little gem of a place this is. We stayed in Oatfields and what a lovely spacious room. The bed was so comfortable and the pillows perfect! No noise so we slept like logs!|Breakfast choice was excellent with plenty to choose from even for a fussy eater like me.
