We booked this trip based on the positive reviews from this site. While most of them are true, the location is great, the staff are friendly and the breakfast is good, (we didn't use the facilities and you'll read why in a moment) our trip was cut short due to the extreme cold in the room. The room (room 9) is underheated by only having 1 electric wall heater and after spending the night fully clothed (My wife actually slept in a hoodie, joggers and socks!) in an attempt to keep warm we decided that we weren't prepared to undergo this for a second evening so checked out. Upon informing reception we weren't offered alternative accommodation or a refund of the second night we were forgoing which was disappointing. As the lodge were 100% responsible for providing suitable accommodation, and I appreciate that we had a severe cold snap, I believe they failed in that responsibility on this occasion and we were disappointed in the level of service we received.

The superior rooms were large, clean, nicely furnished with great views of the 1st tee and 18th green. The bed (2 twins pushed together) was extremely comfortable. Really nice bathroom. Some limited parking just outside the lodge was useful.|Every member of staff was friendly, helpful, and polite. They went out of there way to make it a wonderful stay. Nothing was too much trouble.|The food in the restaurant was well cooked and good value. |We were two couples having a mini break.|My husband and our friend both said the golf course was in good condition, challenging and fun. It helped they had great weather.|While they were hitting balls around the course, myself and the other lady in the party both had head and back massages from the on site beauty therapist, and it was really relaxing and effective. I would recommend a visit. She was really lovely.|Meyrick park is located a short walk to the pier, seafront, shops and restaurants. Although,due to a few steep hills we did get a cab back after a few drinks and dinner on the seafront.|This was our first visit and it won't be our last. We will definitely be going back.|Highly recommended from our party of 4.

Wonderful fourth stay at the lodge. So peaceful and relaxing with easy access to Bournemouth town centre. We first stayed here on our wedding night in 2019 and were treated very well. The facilities are excellent and the breakfasts are awesome.

Very Pleasant lodge overlooking the first tee of the golf course|We had a very comfortable night's sleep.|Breakfast was plentiful and more than adequate.|Overall very good value for money.||there are two things that need noting| 1. that the lodge although only a short walk from the reception it isn't made absolutely clear the reception and restaurant are separate entities this might be an issue for people with mobility problems or in heavy weather.||2. i first parked in the large car park beyond the reception and the very uneven ground around the tress is very poorly lit the entrance off the road is also easily missed for the same reason.||Despite these relatively minor misgivings i would definitely recommend the lodge as it is very good value with helpful and friendly staff

Came to drop my daughter off at uni so The Lodge at Meyrick Park was very convenient. Staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Accommodation was perfect for our needs - very comfortable, clean & quiet. Made good use of the swimming pool & gym as well which was a bonus. Will definitely come back.

Lovely setting. Staff were very helpful with my partners disability needs. We were made to feel very welcome. Just a few minutes from town as well !! Stayed in a lodge with parking right outside,making unpacking very easy !! Would happily stay again.

Our first visit here. The Lodge is a stones throw from the main complex. This is where everything (apart from golf) happens. Our room in the Lodge was spotless. The bedside lights were a little dim, so reading was a little difficult as we are pretty ancient. Everything worked fine: no grab rail in the bath which was surprising. Breakfast was excellent- very good value. I used the gym which was well kitted out. All the staff we met were, without fail,
courteous. We had soup one afternoon- it was tasty and very reasonably priced. All-in-all, we really enjoyed our short stay, and will surely return the next time we're 'down
south'.

This place is incredible. We had a fab time everything was perfect and I have booked to go back in a few weeks time. What a lush little secret place it is xxx 🥰🥰🥰🥰
