Really good breakfast. Best eggs of any hotel I have frequented. |Attentive staff. |Very clean, well-equipped room with high ceiling.|Very comfortable bed with quality linen.|Bus stop outside hotel directly to Clapham Junction or a short walk to East Putney tube station.

Went for our a rare night away and unfortunately didn't get the room that we wanted or had booked! Booked a Superior Double with 1 extra-large double bed and actually got 2 small doubles - not big enough! We had been out late so didn't have the inclination to go and try and change it...the room was comfortable enough, if a little warm and the shower was excellent. Didn't try the breakfast. Loved the location however. Would return only if we were guaranteed the correct bed. The building works weren't an issue on a Friday night but during the week they probably would be as it's a major piece of work being done.

The hotel was in a very accessible area which was close to main roads, the river and transport links. The room was newly decorated and beautiful. The decor was beautiful across the whole hotel. We slept really well in comfy beds and everything was so clean. Breakfast was very good and plentiful with good service.

Absolutely loved our stay. Close to everything, shops restaurants, train and bus stops. Definitely recommend. 10/10 Every staff member we spoke to went above and beyond to help us have an enjoyable stay.

The Lodge Hotel, Putney is a great place to stay. It has quick access to buses, the tube and the rail.||The rooms are lovely, quiet and very comfortable. For the home away from home touch they supply robes too. ||The staff are lovely and the property is kept spotless.||A great place to stay.

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall, the experience was great. The room was clean and comfortable, the amenities were excellent, and the staff were friendly and professional.

However, there was one major inconvenience that impacted my stay. In the middle of the night, the fire alarm went off, waking up all the guests. Thankfully, it turned out to be a false alarm, but it was quite a disturbance.

The next morning, the staff were very apologetic about the incident. While their sincerity was appreciated, it would have been a nice gesture if they had offered something like a free coffee to make up for the disruption.

Despite this issue, I would still recommend this hotel for its overall quality and service. Just a little more attention to customer care during such incidents would make the stay perfect.

This hotel takes £50 from your bank account before you arrive, even when you pay in full in advance as I had done. Also, my room smelt very damp, even after I went out for the evening and left the window open to air the room. I complained the following morning and they weren’t prepared to refund me or offer any discount. £150 is a lot for a room that quite literally, stinks! They also over charged my friend for breakfast, charging her the on the day fee, rather than the advanced fee. We left feeling cheated and extremely disappointed.

My girlfriend and I flew from Cyprus and stayed at this hotel for a week. We were surprised at how polite the staff were, thank you for that. A very clean and beautiful room, which was carefully taken care of every day while we were walking in the city. It is close to the metro and bus stop, in the evening you can sit in front of the hotel and drink wine. Everything is just great!
