A truly lovely weekend - the lodge has spectacular views over the marsh and is perfectly located for walking (particularly if you have a dog, as the lodge is pet-friendly).

The hosts were welcoming and gave great reviews for local places to eat/drink.

Looks pristine, but if you are looking for a privacy....run!
I booked for 3 nights but run very first morning. Horrendous.

A truly lovely place to stay. Perfectly peaceful, with friendly hosts on hand for anything you need. Great location for walks or trips around the island....or just sitting on the veranda, enjoying the view and beautiful bird song.

Hidden gem of the Island! Worth that 5minutes walk off the main road. Amazing view, relaxing, calm environment. If you are going with kids, is the best place to stay for rainy days as well (lot of books, ps2, Nintendo wii and many more board and card games are hidden in those magical drawers.).
Juliette and George, the owners are great and very helpful and kind.
If I could give more stars I would have done already...

Absolutely stunning location on Brading marshes! (RSPB site). A side road off the High Street - Stayed here for 3 weeks (!) as had been here for 2 weeks the year before and couldn't get enough!! The peace, tranquillity and views are second to none. George and Juliette are the perfect hosts and see to all the details without being imposing. Start the day with a gorgeous cooked breakfast hand delivered to you by Juliette! We still miss it!!

The large bed is amazingly comfortable (no achy backs here!). No wifi (data only - but can always use personal hotshot on iphone for other gadgets, ie to get books for kindle ?). Microwave, fridge, kettle, sink, shower and a lovely rocking chair! Lovely sitting out on veranda, relaxing. Binoculars for birdwatching, and a Hide onsite. Great for walks and a base for getting out and about on the island.

A great getaway for short or long stays, cannot recommend highly enough! 10/10.
