I stayed here on Dec 30 2024 and booked it very last minute the morning of and Ana was so good at making the booking process so easy considering how last minute it was! Was sent over a guide on everything we would need to know for our night away and it was so helpful. So much privacy and the surround area was so pretty and relaxing! The hotub and Sauna were just amazing and we really loved the provided wood and kitchen essentials! It was such a relaxing night away and we did not have to worry about anything. It’s so close to local bars and shops and ana was great on fast communication when I had any questions! Such a beautiful and relaxing place. I recommend anyone looking for a relaxing easy stress free get away come here 🙂

The Lodges at Garvagh is such an amazing stay!! I found this place very last minute for a birthday celebration and booked it the morning of our stay on Dec 30 and Ana was so helpful with everything regarding checking in and was just made the whole process so easy! She sent over a guide with all the information we needed and it made the whole day so much easier for us. It was so close walking distance to local bars and restaurants and shops and it’s such a beautiful hidden gem. There’s plenty of privacy and the space was just perfect and they provided so much like wood/kindling, kitchen necessities, towels, and snacks and teas and coffees. The space is just beautiful and the sauna and hot tub were perfect. I would recommend this stay to everybody and I will definitely be back to enjoy it again! Ana was also so helpful with any questions I had and was always so fast with her replies! - Elizabeth

Overnight staycation for myself and my partner for our first Christmas together and we had the most amazing, peaceful time. We had a walk down around the grounds and when we arrived back at the cabin, we were greeted by a very friendly, adorable cat. You wouldn't think you were sitting in the middle of Garvagh. So relaxing and the hot tub was bliss. Handy to have the shops near at hand as well as so many options for takeaways which you can bring into your cabin with you. We will definitely be back again soon.

Had a lovely experience with my daughter, a cabin near the river.
The hot tub was lovely and warm, didn't light the fire, not very good with that stuff.
The sauna was fantastic Molly loved it.
Decking was untidy but Molly got a sweeping brush and cleaned it.
Fantastic shower, with great power.
The lodge is very clean and tidy but the bed, You could feel the springs.
Had a lovely experience only one (teabag).

Spent the night here. Only 15 minutes from home but with the peace and tranquility we could have been anywhere. Super clean and having to stoke the fire to heat the spa give us a sense of accomplishment. It was easy to light and heated up so quick. We have a lazy spa at home and it takes a day plus the cost of electric. This is a far more efficient way. Handy parking, handy for food and really helpful owners.
Definitely will return. Thank you

Had a night stay with my 10 yr old daughter. Lovely cabin, very clean with everything you could possibly need. Bed was super comfy. Hot tub is easy to light/heat. Water was so warm and relaxing. Sauna is lush. Lovely location and special mention to Anna. Her communication and help was absolutely top notch, little hidden gem! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Just home from an overnight stay in Canning Lodge @ the secret garden it was a trip for my husband’s birthday and we brought my two granddaughters (3&5) with us . We had a fantastic time girls loved hot tub and they loved the space to run about. The cabins are very private with no one able to see you when in hot tub which was great. The cabin itself was spotless and beds already made up just waiting for us. Absolutely everything was there for a short or long stay. The facilities are excellent and it’s great that it’s actually in the town for eating purposes., and shops nearby for anything you might have forgotten. We had breakfast in “ The Pantry “ a few doors up and that was lovely with very friendly staff, reasonably priced and very prompt service. On coming away my granddaughter molly asked can I take her back again. I think that speaks volumes for Anna’s place when a 5 yr old wants to return. Thank you so much for having the Hot tub pre- heated for us. Luv Mark, Karen, Molly and Pippa
