Went here because a friend recommended it. We were with some other people. We placed 2 separate orders. Our friends got their food quickly. Ours didn't come down the dumb waiter for another 20 minutes. The girl then took my breakfast to another customer. She left my son's cooked dinner on the side. She then realised her mistake and rang upstairs for another breakfast. My sons meal was sat on the side all this time while another breakfast was cooked. When he got his meal it was cold and wasn't even nice. We complained. The girl said "well what do you want us to do?" Very rude. We had to go somewhere else to get my son some food. Very disappointed. My breakfast was nice I will add though. You need some better staff.

The Loft is a nice cosy cafe good selection of dishes always plenty of options on the specials board as well .
Lovely friendly staff only downside is it is upstairs with no other access

Just had the Hickory chicken must admit its been the worst meal I've had there 😫 chicken was tough as old boots and the sauce that came with it was far to strong and looked like it had curdled. Did complain about it, butv staff were not interested 😒. Puts me off going back

This is quite lovely sitting above a charming shop.
It has a warm ambiance welcoming even when eating alone. Anyone in area could do a lot worse when needing a value for money meal or simply a Wee Cup of Tea.......what would you say to a wee cup of tea? “Hello wee cup of Tea.......”

It looks nice and says dog friendly on here, but dogs are only allowed in the exposed, street/outdoor seating area!

Visited on a Thursday lunch . Only comment that I would make is, that they need to focus on their customer service approach. I waited at the front of the cafe to be served, sadly, I was told not asked. To go to the cash desk and place my order! A bit of a shame as my 1st reaction was to walk back out again.
