Stayed here Friday night just overnight. Room 4 rooms aren’t big but they are clean and nicely decorated. I asked for a fan and hairdryer and they were happy to oblige. Had couple drinks there staff were really lovely would definitely recommend

We held my mother's wake here a couple of weeks ago. We received a warm and friendly welcome despite being somewhat earlier than expected due to the rain. The food was great and suited all including the veggie teenagers at a very reasonable price.

I stay here for work on average 1 night a week. The value for money cannot be beaten. I have stayed in similarly priced hotels and inns in the area and i have settled on staying here regularly must be my biggest compliment.

For this price point you will always have little annoyances but never had any major issues

Had my father's wake at the Lower Bell and all the staff was great and very friendly. Food was good value for money and ample parking for all with disabled access to bar. Thank you for making today and easy day.

I stayed in Room 3. Initially it "looked good" as it was fairly modern and on the surface was okay. Price was good.|Lots of dead flies/bees on the floor upon arrival. The flies came through the skylight which was the only window. No fly screen. Room was way too hot and only one small fan to keep temperature down. No hair dryer, Wifi did not work. Bathroom had a strong odour of mould in the bathroom which suggested incorrect ventilation||

We stayed at The Lower Bell as it was the closest hotel to Edenwood Place where we were attending a wedding. The pub is nicely presented with friendly staff. We had a couple of drinks outside before checking into our room. ||Unfortunately there weren’t many positives on the accommodation front. Our room wasn’t very clean; a few bugs on the carpet and hairs in the shower, which we didn’t use as a result. I had to ask for hand soap at the bar only to be told that “people normally just use the shower gel”. However, a bottle of hand soap was then brought to our room shortly afterwards. We barely slept due to the dual carriageway that runs over the top of the pub. We also had a note in our room when we returned from the wedding to say we’d have to pay at 8.30am the following morning as this had been forgotten when we checked in. Fortunately we were very much ready to leave by that point. I’d say you get what you pay for, but it wasn’t even worth what we paid, which wasn’t a lot.
