I had a pleasant overnight stay here in Great Yarmouth on the 1st of May 2024.
I received a warm welcome when I visited, the room was comfortable, & I also enjoyed a fantastic (specially prepared) vegan breakfast the next morning.

Mark and Monika always give the warmest of welcomes and their attention to guest's requirements are second to none. Ok, I admit we have been staying there for 3/4 night breaks for a long time, even before Mark and Monika became the proprietors, but there is something special about these two that makes this place so special to us. We were given a parking permit on arrival and there has never been a problem in finding a space. A two minute stroll thorough St. Georges Park brought us to the town and we found a restaurant to eat. Food is very good and fairly priced. We returned to the hotel and had a quick football related chat with Mark! Breakfast was well cooked and very tasty and we were treated to some homemade "Ginger and Chilli" jam which was very nice and refreshing. We visited Wroxham for the day. a very beautiful village with an amazing value boat trip on the broads. For dinner we walked from the hotel to the beach (4 mins) and again found a good value restaurant. We slept really soundly in a comfortable bed and in the morning we used the excellent shower in our en-suite. Our short stay (2 nights) was fantastic and if your in the area give the Marina a try and, like us, you will become regular visitors. Mark and Monika we wish you continued success and we will return very soon.

We have just got home from a great long weekend staying at the Marina guest house. The location is just a couple of minutes from the sea front, we were made very welcome right from the start. The room was comfortable complete with a selection of DVD's and player, the breakfast was excellent with a good choice of menu including local kippers. We did not know at the time but this weekend the sea front road was closed for a bike and car show, despite this the location of the guest house still gave us a peaceful night. On arrival we were given a car permit to allow free parking in the local streets. Many thanks Mark and Monika.

just arrived back from a few days after attending a wedding, What a wonderful, friendly couple Mark and Monica are. They are a very professional couple who are attentive and care about your individual needs. The Rooms are simply but spotless, beds were comfortable and had the best pillows i have had in any guest house. Breakfast was plentiful and had a good variety and extremely tasty. I would have no hesitation in returning to visit again.

We had a lovely three day break at The Marina. Monica and Mark are lovely people who really care about giving the best customer experience to their guests. After a long drive, we were greeted warmly and were immediately given ice cold bottles of water to refresh us after our journey. Our room was clean and had everything we needed;ie, hairdryer, tea/coffee in plentiful supply, a fan and most importantly, a comfy bed. Monica cooks all breakfasts to order, making sure that everyone gets the best food possible. They are fabulous hosts who remember and cater to their guests’ individual needs. I requested some water at breakfast on the first day, this was remembered and every day there was a jug of iced water with a slice of lemon waiting on our table. Thank you M&M, it was most appreciated. We came as guests but I feel we left as friends. Xxxx

We have just spent a very enjoyable weekend at the Marina Guest House. Mark and Monika are perfect hosts, friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable and the breakfast was first class. The beach and all the attractions were within easy walking distance. Can thoroughly recommend the Time & Tide Museum as an alternative to the beach. All in all a great weekend and hope to come back again soon.

Had a very good 2 night stay at the Marina B and B with Mark and Monica, wonderful welcome, room clean, and a comfortable bed, breakfast was excellent with a nice choice, full english, eggs benedict or a pack lunch. Location perfect few minutes to the beach or 5 minute walk to town, owners have lots of tips and local information you also get a free parking permit which is a great help with parking close, so would fully recommend this B and B Thank You Mark and Monica..

Myself, husband and daughter visited for the pre opening night in February 2020. |Honestly, great pub, lovely atmosphere however, lots of youngest who get to a certain point of the night and make you feel that it is time to leave but please don't judge my opinion, I feel that if there had been a group of us our experience would have been better. My advice, go as a group not a couple with one youngest. You will have a fab night no matter your age. The staff are great, it's a nice tidy family pub just a shame that a few youngsters feel they are adults before their time an can spoil the environment but this is not the pubs fault. I 100% will be returning and.
