Just had Sunday lunch here - party of four (2 x Roast beef, 1 x Roast Pork and veggie Filo parcel Roast)- the best Sunday Roast (other than my home cooked 🙂 ) any of us can ever remember having. Everything is excellent - venue, staff and food. Service excellent. 11/10 guys thank you so much - can highly recommend

Absolutely splendid roast dinner! 5 stars!

It seems increasingly difficult to get a decent roast dinner out these days, but this was tip top. The tiniest of criticisms would be it would have been nice to have another veg, perhaps red cabbage or broccoli but I'm getting picky now!

The only downside to our visit was the group of older ladies sitting near us who seemed unable to regulate their screeching laughter; the restaurant was full with a general table which was fine but the volume from this table was remarkable - 2 glasses of wine seemed to tip one of the them particularly, 'over the edge'!

Just an idea but could the tables for two be grouped away from the larger bookings?

Lovely warm welcome and great service. The food was very nice with lots of options for my dairy intolerant friend.
The shepherd’s pie was gorgeous and my friends burger was equally amazing.
Desserts were great. My friend was very happy to have a choice!

Didn't stay but went for a birthday meal. And it was fantastic - we had the Caesar Salad and Fish & Chips followed by Sticky Toffee pudding and Baileys & Cointreau Choc Mousse - everything was so delicious. Fantastic atmosphere with friendly staff. Lovely ?

We popped in for a Quick drink so I cant comment on food or the rooms. Looking at the menu, ut seemed reasonable and not expensive. It seemed a nice (big) pub full of charm and character. Staff were friendly and helpful and there was a good crowd of locals. Outside the garden was well laid out and spacious.

Delicious breakfast! Dog friendly. Great value for money, they have alternative/vegan milk options and can cater for food intolerances. Cooked fresh to order and generous portions. Breakfast is made better with their £10 annual loyalty card scheme. We made the £10 on one trip (2 breakfasts). Friendly staff. Highly recommend. @kirbystaltari

I had a lovely experience. It was my 60th birthday. I went to have a meal with my son and daughter in law. Had a lovely roast chicken dinner and cheesecake. A really lovely afternoon. Service was friendly too. Thank you for making my day so special.

Nicely run pub in a lovely village. New "order by phone" system is a bit hit and miss, but early days. Landlady and staff are very friendly and efficient. Food was good and well cooked. As Arnie says, I'll be back.
