Lovely place to stay, easy to access and easy parking at the back of the property. |Really lovely and attentive staff, quick service for taking orders and clearing plates but I didn't feel rushed. Delicious food, the tastiest I've eaten in a long time! Room was fine for a single bed and 1 night stay, lovely powerful shower and no issues with size of the room. I could hear the tv of room next room but wasn't bothered. |Simple continental breakfast with the option of Scrambled egg on toast, bacon sandwich, etc. |Nice stay and would stay again.

Nice comfortable, if compact single room at the back, with garden view. Very quite overnight, so got a great sleep. Breakfast was absolutely all I needed, as ai was in a hurry. It didn't bother me that the hot food was fairly basic, like sausage or bacon or egg sandwiches. I would stay again if in the area. Staff very friendly.

We have recently moved to the area and thought we would try The Mews for lunch having had it recommended. We were not disappointed. It was a Tuesday lunchtime. We loved the ambience of the place, staff were very friendly and hospitable, beer very good ( husband is a fussy beer drinker!) and excellent food. All in all a lovely experience. We will be back.

Beautiful room and stunning bathroom. Very clean and comfortable. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Amazing quality for the price. The Mews is well known for it's food. This is the first time I have stayed here since moving but will definitely be staying again. |Walking distance to the town centre and not far from Wakefield and to the motorway. Excellent position.

I have stayed at The Mews several times and have always had a comfortable, clean room, the menu is good including a specials board and the food has always been great, although the breakfast is a little disappointing since they stopped offering a full cooked breakfast. I stayed in room 11 on this occasion, a superior double, not the biggest of rooms but clean and comfortable with a modern ensuite shower room, my only complaint would be the tv signal, I think it is cable operated but it was continually pixelating making it impossible to watch any channel.

The Mews Hotel: A Fantastic Dining Experience
I recently dined at The Mews Hotel, and I was thoroughly impressed. The food was absolutely delicious – truly "to die for"! The portions were also very generous, offering great value for the price. Speaking of value, the prices are very reasonable, making it affordable for everyone.
The service was also outstanding. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and incredibly attentive, making the whole experience even better.
Overall, I highly recommend The Mews Hotel for a fantastic dining experience. You won't be disappointed!

Staff very helpful and friendly. Food good quality dining. Breakfasts are a little limited as the only hot food is something like bacon sausage sanwich or something on toast with continental although that suffic3es me. Depending on where you are in the hotel roomwise can find a little noisy until the bar has locked up music comes up a little loud through the floor but that is only in certain rooms. Would always recommend this hotel. Would like to see this hotel involved with the beercart festival in Ossett as they always have people involved with the festival staying at the hotel. Disappointe in that way with the hotel management.

Overall had a great stay at the hotel. All staff we spoke to were super friendly, room was clean and spacious and bed was very comfy. Bar area is quirky and welcoming.
