Wow. What a find. Super little room for myself and daughter to stay in. The location is really convenient. Perfect for a stroll by the canal. Room was spotlessly clean and the owners were friendly and efficient. Beds were comfy and it was so quiet and peaceful we both overslept! Would definitely stay there again. Thanks Brogan.

Just off the motorway in a lovely area canal side with lots of nature. Nice dog walks and a beautiful sun trap. Nice early check in with friendly lady that took us to the room. Bar tender very friendly and worked so hard so did evening bar/waiting lads.|Food was good in the evening, drinks reasonably priced. No breakfast available but didn't mind not a major issue. Very dog friendly and welcoming. Room was gorgeous clean spacious with dog welcome pack and bowl ready. Tea and coffee available and so handy to have fridge. A lovely stay and good staff

We visited for two days in April with our small dog. Room was clean and light, decent views, ideal for driving into Gloucester. It was quiet whilst we were there due to mid week stay. The canal is good for dog walks and is probably a nice place to sit alongside in warmer weather.
We would definitely stay here again if down this way in the future.

We ordered breakfast at 9.25 and it is 10.30 and still no sign of it. Others ordered after us and received theirs. Unbelievable and despite booking a room with breakfast included this was also questioned. I will add photos of the breakfast if it ever arrives!

Stayed a year ago, so was very pleased to book a return for a small local festival. Breakfast is wonderful!

Lovely views of the canal basin from the Garden Room. Staff are friendly and capable. Highly recommended

We had the garden flat for our large dog which was just fantastic as he doesn’t like to be inside. The bed was extremely comfortable and there is a small fridge in the room which is very handy. Beautiful bathroom. If the hotel restaurant isn't open then the Toby carvery is just a two minute walk. The dog walking is fantastic, the hotel is set on a small canal. Also there is a little path which takes you under the bridge and out at Alney Island nature reserve. It’s very quiet and right on the river Severn.

Nice hotel, rooms were clean and comfortable. TV could be on a swivel bracket and a bit larger but it did the job for one evening.

Convenient location to explore Gloucester Quays, a 40-45 minutes walk or 10 minute drive. Lovely surroundings next to the River Severn and Over Canal Basin. Just off an A road.|Large double bedroom with jacuzzi bath, mini fridge and tea/coffee making facilities.||We’d definitely stay here again!
