Nice little pub with decent rooms. Me and a mate stay for the night, we were having a night out in Birmingham, pub was within decent walking distance of the bus station and close enough to the town. They were very welcoming and even though I'd made a mistake with the booking, the lady (who's name I forgot) was very understanding.|The room was comfortable and clean, exactly what we needed for the night. The bar it's self was good, friendly atmosphere, even though our room was very close, it didn't bother us. Breakfast next day was a little over priced but it was nice, I had free range of coffee, tea and toast. ||Overall, even though there isn't much around there, I would stay again.

Staff were unfriendly and even rude. Bar was meant to be open til 11pm and was closed at 10pm meaning no other options for soft drinks. Food in restaurant was so basic and mostly cold. Mattress in room was terrible and needed replacing as we could feel springs through. And tripping hazards in the morning with laundry in corridors!!! Only nice thing we can say it was a clean hotel mostly and in a reasonable location to city centre.

The room was nice and clean, very pleasant, the only downside was the walls are very thin and you can hear people in the next room chatting away and also the room was very hot, we couldn't really have the window open as it was on street level and anyone could have come in through the window while we were sleeping.

We were told there would be SKA event on that night until 1am, but that was ok as we were told in advance.

Staff were very nice and pleasant too.
The location was a bit too far from the centre, but otherwise it was a great stay for the money.

I needed somewhere to stay within walking distance of a venue in digbeth and of course on a tight budget. This hotel was a great price and the location I needed. Staff were really friendly and check-in/check out was very easy, reception is manned while the pub is open and a coded door gives access once the pub is shut. The bed I had was a bit uncomfortable I think it probably needs to be replaced but this is not a problem as most hotels I stay in the bed is a sprung mattress which is well passed it's sell by date. The other bed in the twin room was fine. ||Room and bathroom were very clean and the shower was powerful and hot. There's a little kettle with tea and coffee provided. A small convenience store is very close for snacks etc as the resturant was not open on the Friday we arrived or the Saturday but there is was a cooked breakfast on the Sunday morning which I didn't need to pre-book just turn up and order. ||I will definitely stay here again if the event I attended at the weekend goes ahead again in 2025.

We booked it for the location and the price. We didn’t expect much for the money. However it turned out to be very clean and comfortable. The facilities were what you’d expect and the staff were great. Great price for the centre of Birmingham.

We would stay again. The rooms are a bit tired but clean and comfortable bed. Not too bad price either. Only 10mins walk from trendy Digbeth so good location.

Arrived a bit earlier than check-in time, but the staff allowed me to store my luggage at cost nor fuss. Room was clean and cozy. Seated only 4 bus stops from the bull ring with the bus stop right across the street, the location is exceptional avoiding the heat and city madness. Lots of friendly locals enjoying a daytime pint or two during the day. All in all, a great experience with a wonderfully friendly and helpful staff.|The cook went ahead and set me up with tasty plate of bangers and mash 15mins before the kitchen closed!|Next time there is a show in Birmingham, I`ll be staying at the Moseley arms again.

if you like to : navigate your way round pools of vomit before entering the pub which | wasnt washed away during our 3 night stay|| make your way past arguing drunken scroats to check in at 1pm|| have drunks shout unintelligable drivel through your open window in the | early hours and then knock so hard on the window once youve shut it, | they nearly put it through|| have druggies try to break into your room 3 times in one night by trying | door handles numerous times and trying to barge the door open|| have no security whatsoever including no one on at night that we could | find and door to hotel been left wide open all night despite been given | a four digit pass key for the combination lock|| have loud booming music from the pub bit, keeping you awake until the | early hours| | and when the music stops, have the bar staff smoke and chat loudly | right outside your window.||all in all, a fabulous experience. i just wish all pubs were as rough as this.
