Ate there on a lunchtime. Nice surroundings, nice location. Service was good. I had the pork, stuffing and gravy baguette. Not bad, nothing to complain about. Also had a portion of chips. Very good size portion and they were nice chips. My wife had the garlic mushrooms. Incredibly it tasted of absolutely nothing. No discernible garlic, cheese, cream or even mushroom flavour. Very strange. The couple next to us had the same thing and they seemed to be enjoying it so maybe it was a bad batch.|Additionally, and I could be completely wrong about this, we overheard that there was a £9.99 for 2 courses offer. This was not apparent to us. We certainly didn’t receive a menu for that offer. However, take what I say with a pinch of salt (or add it to the mushrooms) as I could be completely mistaken.

I went here for a family meal. I've given this place a 5/5 rating. This is despite them running out of beef and lamb that I wanted to order. Why?
Because:
1. The location by the River Severn is ideal, and Bewdley is a beautiful place
2. Their customer service was excellent
3. The atmosphere was relaxed, friendly, and warm
4. Their food was beautifully presented and tasted great
This place was recommended to me by a colleague. And I now see why. Them running out of certain orders on the menu is merely a symptom of their popularity.

Was looking for somewhere to pop into for lunch on the off chance, had a quick look at online menu which looked lovely.
Just a very short walk along river from bridge/high street.
Walked in late lunchtime, quite busy and was given a choice of tables. Ordered drinks, I chose coffee and they had a choice of dairy free milk, I was so happy! They had actually run out of soya, and I don’t like oat milk (think I’ve had so much of it I’ve the years) they very kindly popped out to get some.
The menu choices were fabulous, if I’d been hungrier I would have chosen a pizza, they looked delicious! However we plumped for light lunch two courses.
Really good! Pate was substantial, soup was tasty and fresh, the fish and chips were best I’ve had in a long time! So clean tasting, clearly change their oil on a regular basis!
Staff were so lovely, friendly without being overly and genuinely wanted you to enjoy your time there. Looking about inside you could see why it was so popular!
Highly recommend!!

Had an amazing roast dinner today here, absolutely delicious. Service is on point with friendly staff. And an amazing outside space to sit and I must say some good tunes flowing. Beautiful decor. And a massive pizza oven and rotisserie out the back. This place gives a lot and will definitely be coming for a third visit.

visited with a friend a few weeks ago after having heard great things from local family. It was by far the worst meal I’ve ever had at a restaurant which my family were very surprised by, apparently it’s under new management. We both ordered the breaded chicken which was a deep fried and dry schnitzel type thing. It was so heavily deep fried the oil poured out with every bite and it was tough as old boots. The potatoes were raw, the onions were slimy, the broccoli was steamed or boiled to within an inch of its life. I would usually eat around a problem in a restaurant as I appreciate not all foods are for all people but neither of us could, nothing on the plate was remotely nice. We’re not fussy guys but it was really really rough. Told the waitress, she apologised and that was it. Nothing knocked off the bill. We must have eaten1/4 of our dinners between us. Such a shame cuz the place is pretty & had a nice vibe, won’t be eating there again.

Beautiful location, booked last minute for Sunday dinner, the garden room at the back is gorgeous, such a clever use of space and very relaxing. The food was perfect, lamb, beef and chicken all wonderfully cooked and plenty for everyone, so nice to see lamb on a Sunday roast menu, loads of vegetables and the cauliflower cheese was creamy and delicious.
Every member of staff was polite and welcoming, highly recommend and looking forward to going back to try out the freshly cooked pizzas when we can

Visited on Sunday lunchtime for the Sunday roast.

The pub has a nice location along the river and the service was good and friendly.

Unfortunately the roast was disappointing. The lamb was tough, the skin on mash was cold and the Yorkshire pudding was dry. At £18 for the meal, I was expecting a lot better.

We were staying close by and used to visit with family frequently, but not for a couple of years. As usual the food was stunning, served quickly and efficiently. The bonus for me was gluten free beer in the form of bewdley brewery’s Worcestershire Way (several consumed) The service was friendly and quick. Cannot recommend this place enough.
