Absolutely exceptional service from James and the staff at the Nags!
Due to difficult circumstances we were left without caterers for our 90 person wedding with less than 2 months to spare. We were recommended Nags by a friend, who by some miracle were able to fulfil the date required, thus saving us from a massive problem at short notice.

On the day the service was nothing short of perfect, we received loads of compliments about the canapés that were provided, both in the quality and quantity of the food. The staff were both friendly and professional and everything ran like clockwork.

I cannot recommend these guys highly enough.

The quality of the food was incredible - we got so many compliments, and the service was amazing, such a friendly and professional team. We also used the team to run the bar and the drinks were perfect. It was a DIY wedding and thanks to James and the team, the whole weekend ran so smoothly. No request was ever too much, James always found a way to make things work, and we could not recommend him and the team more.

James and his team were absolutely fantastic for our wedding in the summer of 2021. James was great in the build up to the big day. Due to not living where we were getting married we were unable to trial any food and were slightly apprehensive but we shouldn’t have been! The quality of the food was truly outstanding. The team were so friendly and professional, nothing was too much and they were a pleasure to have at our wedding. The most common ending to people talking about the day has been “And the catering… wow”.

We honestly can’t thank the team enough and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anybody.

Everyone was so attentive and many of our guests commented on this. The whole menu was delicious. James was great at communicating throughout and always flexible when we arranged meetings. He executed our brief perfectly and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for event catering!

I just spent a weekend at a wedding in Hampshire. It was a joyous and fabulous weekend, and much of it was due to the wonderful crew from The Nags Bar and Kitchen team. The food was fantastic, the drinks - both soft and not - were plentiful, but perhaps most importantly the crew were just lovely, and kind and thoughtful. The happiness everyone felt for the grooms set the tone, but the weekend could not have been as joyful and just plain fun, without The Nags Bar and Kitchen. I recommend them without hesitation.

WOW! A truly unforgettable night!

James and his team worked tirelessly throughout the night, accommodating my every request in what were challenging outdoor conditions, late into the night. It really was a night to remember.

My birthday celebration was held in the garden with twelve guests and nothing was too much for James. He carefully crafted a nine course taster menu with paired wines to match. The food was incredible with flavour combinations of which most had not ever had the pleasure of tasting before and as the night wore on each course became increasingly anticipated by my guests!

Attention to detail, great communication and so much consideration all went into making the night a terrific success and one that all of my guests continue reminisce over. I can't thank James and his team enough and I very much look forward to finding my next excuse to employ his services. Bravo!

A family party once the lockdown was eased was made truly memorable by James and Dan. Superb food and service delivered in a professional and happy manner ensured a relaxed and highly enjoyable event. Even the children commented on how obliging Dan was - something to do with finding cheese to go with the burgers I think! James’ guidance and advice (always delivered with a smile) both before and during the party was so helpful, instilled confidence and helped me to relax. I would highly recommend the Nags Bar and Kitchen to anyone.
