Easy booking and confirmation experience. Very friendly welcome and check-in and escort to room. Seamless evening meal planning - not been since before Covid for business or pleasure but the Staff still maintain a special Customer Experience - they know their craft and the menu inside out. So enjoyable. Will be back for both business & leisure in this most stunning of Mid-Wales locations - the area of which I have visited for over 30 years! Brilliant independent roadside Inn/Restaurant/Accommodation/Off Road Parking & superb evening & breakfast delivery & of course local beer - Monty’s. Can’t wait to be back. Thank you.

EXCELLENT! Seriously the Best Sunday lunch we have ever had. Cooked to perfection, all fresh produce, staff pleasant and attentive. Such a well cared for establishment truly couldn't recommend it more, just wish I was local as I would come again and again. Thank you all very much definitely a 10 out of 10

We have been looked after by lovely ladies who made sure we have lovely time with pur cat Gavi.
?‍⬛
Food was delicious and served beautifully.
Loved my starter and stake was cooked as i like.
The deserts with coffee were lovely add to our meal.

The place was comfortable and clean which is extra point

We visited on Monday and pub was quite busy but plenty of space on the carpark

Lovely food in a beautiful setting.

We have visited twice, once with friends and once with family, and both times the quality of the food and service have been of a very high standard.

I can highly recommend the chilli beef starter. It's really good to get so much variety on the menu.

Parking can be a bit tricky, especially on the busier weekend evenings. We booked through email, and the responses were quick and helpful.

Staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive.

We wouldn't hesitate to return!

My partner and I visited for the May bank holiday weekend for a little mini break and it did not disappoint. We booked a room and a continental breakfast was included, which we didn't realise. ||It wasn't overly busy which we were surprised by, but this made it better for us as we managed to get a booking for food on the evening. ||The room was lovely, lots of space, fresh, clean and airy with comfortable beds. We ate at The Nags in the evening, we enjoyed the food and service was good too! We personally liked the location, although next to a road, we were able to enjoy a walk down the canal in the evening. ||For the price and what it had to offer, no complaints.

The best Sunday lunch we have had out, it was so good we went back for dinner the next evening and we were not disappointed.

We stayed one night and also had an evening meal in the restaurant. Our room was lovely, large and very comfortable- the only slight issue was that sound from a bar below was extremely intrusive in the early evening but this eased. Whilst our meal was good the staff were not very attentive, did not check in with us, had to be asked twice to bring water and did not return to ask if we wanted dessert or coffee. We had to leave the table and ask for the bill at the bar. There were at least 3 waiting staff on so not sure what happened. The next morning the included ‘continental’ breakfast was very limited in comparison to other similar hotels we stayed at the same week and we were also told it was not possible to provide cooked options as the kitchen was waiting for an engineer.
