Gorgeous cottage feel. Kid friendly place. The beds were super comfortable and our room was very spacious. Bathrooms were clean, spacious and there was hot and cold water supply throughout the day and night! Towels were always clean and changed. We appreciated the room service, beds were made for us each night! Breakfast was cooked to perfection. One of the best mushrooms I have had was here.

We had a truly wonderful experience at The Neeld Arms. Mark, the proprietor, was incredibly courteous and an outstanding host throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived, he made sure every detail was taken care of.

Dinner was exceptional. We had a delicious chicken burger and a perfectly cooked fish and chips, both served hot and fresh. There was also plenty of fresh bread and butter on the table, which we really appreciated. Everything was full of flavour and clearly made with quality ingredients. The drinks selection was excellent and paired well with the meal.

The rooms were tastefully decorated, extremely comfortable, and perfect for a restful night. Breakfast the next morning was just as impressive.

What stood out most was Mark’s attentiveness. He was always on hand, anticipating and meeting every request with warmth and care. We genuinely cannot stress enough how much fun and relaxation we had. A fantastic place and highly recommended.

The decor and ambience pleasant. Staff are welcoming and helpful. 2 or 3 decent real ales It is sometimes noisy in the bar, including unwelcome swearing. The menu looks good, but be careful when ordering the food. It can be quite unexpected e.g. the gnocchi had been fried instead of boiled. Or maybe, both! We also experienced over-cooked fish and tough meat. The quality of the food seemed to deteriorate during our stay in the village.

We had a pleasant stay here. We were made very welcome by the helpful staff. The room was large and comfortable. The evening meal was very good, I enjoyed the Thai prawn curry and my husband loved the good quality ham and parsley sauce. Breakfast was also very good. The pub is in a charming village and we would certainly stay again if visiting the area.

Beautiful place, friendly staff and simply stunning food!! My husband and I have booked a night here tonight also and it’s stunning!! What a find!! Would recommend to anyone!! It’s so lovely to see a pub still being busy! The menu is good for all types of dietary requirements!

Thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at The Neeld Arms. An easy (and beautiful!) drive from Bath, the location is lovely, nestled in the heart of a peaceful Cotswold village. The staff was warm and welcoming, the pub had a friendly atmopshere and the room was spacious, charming and fresh. Had a delightful breakfast the next morning. Food was great and service both efficient and kind. Our innkeepers also provided great advice on the area that enhanced our visit to this beautiful part of the country. Highly recommend!!!

We stayed one night and wished we could have stayed longer! Warm welcome, wonderfully comfortable bed and dinner was really very good indeed. Amelia was very cheerfully attentive but not “in our faces” Jenna (hope that’s right) was delightful and also attentive. Breakfast poached eggs were probably the best I’ve had, and the coffee was great. We would like to have had some fresh fruit at breakfast (beyond an apple or orange) but it really didn’t matter. Compliments to the owners, this business has everything it needs to do really (really) well. We’ll try and find an excuse to return!

We were there for the food. Has the Sunday Roast. It was delicious. The service was wonderful - the staff was very patience with us as we decided what we wanted to have for our first Sunday lunch in the UK.
