Stayed long term at the New Brighton for work. One of the best, if not the best place I’ve stayed while working away! Rooms are always clean and comfortable, the food is great and the bar has a great atmosphere. All while being great value for money. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the manager Rob who worked hard to accommodate. Would highly recommend to anyone, whether it be work or leisure. Also lots to do round about and loads of local amenities. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

A huge thankyou to Ray and Sue for the celebration of our dad’s life following his funeral in the bar and restaurant area. They went above and beyond - Ray even with his finishing touches writing the words HP with champagne glasses (my dad’s favourite sauce) to the outstanding food in the buffet they prepared. Everyone commented how amazing the food was. The venue was the perfect setting too. Thankyou so much again for what was such a special but hard day for us. You turned it into something quite magical for us.

We've been here a couple of times for events and I have to say that each time was a great experience.
The staff are so friendly, the venue is immaculate and really well decorated.
The last time we went was on a Sunday so we decided to eat there.
My wife had the roast beef Sunday roast (which wasn't shy on portion size) and I had the New York burger which was ace.
Food piping hot and very tasty.
Would definitely highly recommend this place and we will definitely use again.

Great friendly staff rooms are clean and comfortable and warm manager Rob is super helpful and friendly. Can’t say enough good things about this Hotel. Highly recommended if you’re in new Brighton great value.

We stayed over a weekend. The room was basic but clean, and the wifi was good. We had one dinner and a breakfast over the two nights; the food was tasty and good value. The hotel has a good location - the local area is good for cafes and restaurants and the seafront only a few hundred yards away. The hotel staff were friendly, efficient and welcoming. ||A couple of minor downsides: parking can be difficult, and it would be good if breakfast was offered earlier than 9am

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.|1. Parking is a massive problem. There are two small free car parks close by but they are permanently full and there is nowhere else to park.|2. The bar is a dive and people are screaming and shouting until well past 2am. Don’t expect any sleep.|3. I checked in at 5pm then went straight out for dinner. When I returned to the room at 10pm the whole room stunk of drains. It was coming from the bathroom sink. I shut the bathroom door and opened the bedroom window but the smell was still unbearable.|4. I had a shower but the shower drain was blocked and the shower tray instantly filled up. This meant my husband couldn’t have a shower. We were going out for the day so we asked reception to unblock the shower drain. When we returned 6 hours later they had not unblocked the shower drain - and now there was a new problem that the bathroom light had stopped working!||I went to reception. They couldn’t fix any of the problems and they didn’t have any free rooms to move me to - so they gave me my money back (only for that night - not the previous night) and I checked out. I had to find myself another hotel room for the night which was incredibly stressful.||When we first arrived my husband ordered a bowl of chips in the bar. I don’t know how you can get chips wrong but they were completely inedible. They were cut chunky and they were black, soggy, slimy and cold.|I find it incredible that people say the food is good or that the rooms are ok. We had room four which was tiny, grubby and smelly. This is easily the worst place I’ve ever stayed

Lovely food, varied menu including mid week roast dinners.
Comfy beds.
Ideally located for the theatre and promenade attractions.

Called in for a pint and a bite. Staff very welcoming, ale was excellent, food menu varied . The meals came in good time and were plentiful and we'll done. Ideal for our needs on a day trip. P.S loaded salt and pepper chicken chips tip of the day
