We just loved it here. Our experience from start to finish was exceptional. The best team of staff Iโ€™ve sent for ages. Everyone was brilliant and charming. Rooms were perfect, really well thought out with lovely little touches like fresh milk, tea cakes, magazines etc. Dinner and breakfast were superb. Amazing to have every single wine available by the glass - perfect for me as my other half doesnโ€™t drink. We booked as we were at an event nearby but will return to this beautiful place as a destination in its own right!! Amazing โค๏ธ

Stayed at The Flying Horse on 11th & 12th March for two nights and we had the best time.|We had one of the stable rooms as we had our two dogs with us and it was clean, comfortable, warm and had everything you could want including fresh milk, tea and coffee for the cafetiere and the bed was so comfortable. |The menu offered a varied selection of dishes including vegetarian offerings and the food was delicious and plentiful and breakfast was the same with a great hot selection plus cold meats, cheese and warm croissants. |There is also a substantial wine list of which we sampled a few of the wonderful reds.|The staff, Victoria, Emma and the rest of the guys really couldn't do enough for us making the stay even more memorable and of course not forgetting Toby the resident Romanian Rescue who after an initial stand off with our two Romanian Rescues got on really well with them. |Over all it was probably the best dog friendly break we have had and whilst there are great walks nearby there is a large beautifuly kept garden which our dogs loved.|Try a break here as you won't be disappointed and we shall definitely be back in the summer.

No hesitation about 5 stars. An excellent experience and good value for money. Wye (in Kent) is a lovely place (make sure you visit the church!) As to the room, many excellencies; bed, pillows, and numerous little details all perfect. The details showed real care and attention. For example, when we checked in, we were asked if we would like fresh milk in the room; when we said yes, we were given a small metal bottle of milk in its own little ice bucket. That was unique in my experience of hotels. The inn is very old, so the doors are a little lower than six feet high - but forewarned (which we were when shown to the room) is forearmed. The only suggestion I would make is: install an extendable shaving mirror in the otherwise excellent and very modern bathroom.

Wow! Where to start?|From initial welcome on arrival by George, a good old fashioned 'let me show you to your room', to the attention to detail with the facilities in the room (being offered fresh milk for tea/coffee for example) and then to the simple but varied dinner menu providing some of the best 'pub' food that I have had in many years. The whole ambiance of the place feels very unlike any pub that I have stayed in - nothing seemed too much trouble, but all provided with humour and a sincerity that is sadly missing from even most high end establishments. A shame that we could only stay one night ..... but we will certainly be back! This is not 'just a pub' ..... but an Inn where the staff go out of their way to make you welcome and ensure that you remember you're stay for all the right reasons!|It isn't exactly inexpensive to stay here ......... but worth every single penny!

We had a lovely night at the New Flying Inn with our two dogs. We felt very welcomed, especially the dogs. The room was lovely, comfortable and clean. Every little detail was thought of.
We booked a table for dinner and we didn't regret it. The food and the service were amazing.
Overall a very enjoyable experience and we will definitely be back.

Highly recommend this fabulous, quiet, dog friendly inn. I stayed 4 nights in a cosy, comfortable room in the converted stables. Breakfast and dinner were all exceptionally delicious, very good wine list. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful and spoilt my little dog Ivy. I had such a wonderful stay I have booked my next visit for April. The restaurant and bar has such a friendly welcoming atmosphere. Thank you all and very much look forward to seeing you again soon. xx๐Ÿพ๐Ÿพ

Amazingly good pub and great food.
Had lunch here after a nearly 2 hour walk on the Wye downs. Busy pub but we still got parking at the back. Three of us had the croquettes and the Brie: excellently made and presented. All our mains were cooked to perfection. The beef burger had a quirky bone marrow injection. My sonโ€™s steak was spot on. The bread in my sandwich was soft and the filling was generous. We were kindly offered an amuse bouche: the beef eaters in the group said they were really tasty. All washed down with good local ale. We would have loved to eat dessert but were stuffed.
The young lady who served us was attentive and efficient. The ambience in the pub was charming. And we had a good chuckle reading the menus and their mission statement. All in all a brilliant relaxed time. Will definitely visit again. Well done!

Wonderful pub, with great food and service.

Of the 5 dishes me and my partner, we couldn't find 1 fault. Potion sizes were reasonable, all the food was lovely. The steak and ale pie was lovely!
